The chili chicken pita still hits the same as before the fire closure—crispy, decent spice, filling enough for the price. Portion felt fair for what you pay. Only hassle is parking around there, so better walk or take the bus. Not mad about it though.

Came here on a Saturday and it was packed, but honestly the buzz made it fun. We grabbed seats pretty easily since we arrived early. Service was a bit slow once it got busy, but we didn't really mind. The vibe is super lively, perfect for hanging out with friends. Would come back for that energy alone 😊

The motsunabe was the real deal—rich broth, plenty of offal, proper comfort food. Gyutan came out nicely charred, though slightly chewy. Place is small, a bit cramped, but that adds to the charm. Felt like a tiny corner of Fukuoka in Düsseldorf. I'd go back for the hot pot alone. 🍲

Been coming here for years, always stop by when I'm in Cologne. The dining room still feels as grand as the first time. Had the tasting menu again, presentation was spot on. Service stays consistent, never too fussy. Pricey, sure, but you know what you're getting. It's a solid choice if you want a proper evening out.

It is my favorite bierhaus in the city. We always go here. Xenia is a fantastic server that is friendly and fun. She made the experience event more exciting!

Lovely terrace right by the river, cathedral view at sunset was gorgeous. Tiramisu really hit the spot.

The breakfast spread here is solid—plenty of options, even vegan stuff. I had the avocado toast and it was fresh, nicely done. Place looks cute inside, fits the vibe. Only thing: service drags a bit when it’s packed. Took a while to get the bill. But food’s good enough that I’d deal with it again.

The yangnyeom chicken was the highlight—really sticky, sweet, and spicy at the same time. Just be ready to wait even with a reservation. Seating felt a bit chaotic on a Saturday night.

The pizza was decent, nothing crazy but it hit the spot. The bruschetta though... kinda pricey and not really what I expected. The ladies serving us were super friendly, that made up for it a bit.

The cold dishes here are really fresh. I had the lamb skewers too, nicely spiced. Noodle soups are a bit pricey for what they are, but the portion is generous. Good spot if you want proper Shaanxi flavors in Cologne. I'd probably just stick to the starters next time.
