Such a cosy spot. The team were lovely, really took the time for a chat which made the evening. Felt like dropping in on friends.

Been coming here for years, it's got that proper neighbourhood trattoria feel. The burrata with sundried tomato pesto is always spot on. Creamy, with a nice tang from the pesto. A solid choice.

A lovely, traditional cafe right on the High Street. The tea is served in proper bone china cups, which was a nice touch. It's a light and airy space, very comfortable for a quiet sit-down. The staff were friendly and didn't rush you at all.

The dining room is always spotless, which I really appreciate. It's why we keep coming back for that classic fish and chips – you know exactly what you're getting. A proper, no-fuss place.

Great spot just off the A1. Dog-friendly, which is a plus. The lunch special menu was solid, good value. Staff were really helpful. Car park has EV chargers too.

Been grabbing lunch here for a few weeks now. Food's always fresh, tastes like good local stuff. Quick and reliable, exactly what I need on a short break.

I'm a sucker for a good drink pairing. The Mediterranean tart was solid, but the real star was how well a crisp white wine went with it. The blueberry croissant was decent, just a touch sweet for my taste. Good vegan options overall.

Love the cosy vibe here, perfect for catching up with friends. Their flat white is so smooth, just the right spot to escape the usual chain coffee shops. A bit busy on weekends though.

The staff were really patient with our group, we were in no rush. The loaded fries were huge, could easily share. Burger was tasty too.

The pecan tart was just incredible. We actually went back for seconds of the cruffins, they're that good. A real gem of a bakery.

The food is always cooked fresh here, which is nice. It does get pretty busy at peak times, but they keep things moving. My fish and chips were piping hot and the portion was generous for the price.

The calamari was the standout. Fresh, not rubbery at all, with a light, crisp batter. The breaded prawns were good too, but the squid was just better. Gnocchi was decent, a bit heavy after the seafood.
