Been coming here for years, and that open fire is the main reason. It’s always roaring, perfect for a pint on a cold evening. Just feels like the proper, cozy pub experience you don’t get everywhere anymore.

Stumbled upon this place with my Yorkie in tow. They didn't just allow him, they were genuinely sweet about it. The pizza was spot on, and honestly, the prices didn't make me wince. A proper find.

The breakfast and coffee were lovely. We even came back the next day. The booths are really comfortable, which made it a nice, relaxed start.

Good food great menu, attentive without being over powering service, I would certainly recommend and go back. The one issue was a charge of £5.00 for a lime and soda, Way over the top so i didn't add a tip. but that apart we loved the food and wish them every success.

Garlic bread was decent. Seafood linguine though—clams and prawns were fresh, pasta cooked just right. That's what I remember. Bill seemed fair for it.

The food was pretty good. Gracelyn was lovely, very friendly with a nice smile. Service was fine overall, though it did get a bit slow when they got busy. I’d come back with friends.

The vibe here is spot on. It’s lively and buzzing even when it’s early, which I really like. The staff are clearly on top of keeping the place clean and tidy. A solid choice for a casual pint.

Had a fab time catching up with friends here. Shout out to Izzy for helping us pick beers - she really knows her stuff. The vibe was just right for a chilled evening out.

The gambas were fantastic, and the patatas bravas were a nice surprise too. But the main thing for me was the space – it's got a really relaxed, airy feel. You don't feel cramped at all, even when it's busy.

Andrew and the team were so helpful with our last-minute lunch order. They even included a few thoughtful extras.

Been coming here for years, and the pasta is always spot on. Had the carbonara last night, creamy but not heavy. That consistency keeps me coming back.

Noticed this restaurant for the last few months and was thinking about trying it out. The food rating was important and google ratings and both were exceptionally high.Booked a table online and went there on the weekend. The menu is varied and not complicated to read, the seating is good and the restaurant is well lit and busy which is a plus. Ordered and food took a while which means its fresh and the presentation was excellent, portions are large so even a small rice can feed two people. Tasty food and pleasant staff who take the time to talk. Will return next month and the cost is acceptable and to me not overpriced. Will recommend the Spare ribs as a starter, excellent.

Jim was our server and he really went above and beyond for my mum's birthday. The whole team was just so lovely and chill, it made the whole evening feel relaxed. A really nice touch.

Such a funky spot! The decor is wild, really sets the mood. Had their signature cocktail and the mushroom pasta - the pasta was so creamy and rich, just the right amount of garlic. Staff were super chill and knew the menu inside out.

The Sunday roast is solid. Beef was properly rare, roast potatoes crisp. Cauliflower cheese good too. Gravy was rich and plentiful. Portion size is decent for the price.

Food was incredible. Flavours were spot on, service was attentive without being overbearing. Just a really solid meal, no complaints.

The '3 seasons' chicken is what brought me here. It's got this unique sweet and savoury glaze, and the meat was so tender. Haven't seen that dish anywhere else! Service was quick and friendly too. A solid spot for Thai food.

The courtyard was lovely for lunch on a sunny day. Really enjoyed the relaxed vibe out there, even though the place was packed. Just a nice spot to sit and eat.

Decent spot for a business lunch. The veggie bangers and mash had good flavour, and the vegetarian menu is varied. Service was prompt, which is key for a midweek meal.

The 2-for-1 cocktail deal before 7pm is solid. Grabbed a couple after work in the beer garden. Good spot to decompress for an hour. Drinks were decent, service was prompt.

The lunch menu is a solid deal. The staff were really helpful in picking a wine that went with my pasta.

Great spot for a quick pint. The beer garden gets all the sun and the river view is nice. Just what you need to unwind for an hour.

Xxxxx We visit the Toby Carvery at Bridgend regularly and find it consistent in both quality of food and service which we would rate as very good. We would have no hesitation in recommending this particular restaurant to anyone for both quality of food and service.

Decent food and service, but the portions are a bit small for the price.

The gammon was a generous portion, cooked just right. My mac and cheese had this lovely, crispy top layer that made it. A solid, comforting meal in a really warm space.

The chips are huge, but I really appreciate how fresh the ingredients feel. You can taste the quality in the simple dishes. The staff were lovely, even on a packed evening.

This place is a real find. The sit-down menu is completely different from the takeaway one, which was a nice surprise. I had a lovely, quiet lunch trying some of their specialty dishes. Everything tasted very fresh.

They managed our large group booking flawlessly. The pre-order communication was clear and the service never felt rushed, even when busy.

The fish and chips were spot on. The batter was light and crisp, the chips were proper thick-cut and fluffy inside. The mushy peas had a good minty kick. That's what I come for.

The white cocoa mocha was just right, not too sweet. Really enjoyed the yoghurt & blackberry flapjack, you could tell the ingredients were fresh. A nice, simple change from the usual chains.
