Love the covered patio here. It's perfect for bringing my dog, they even have water bowls set out. Makes a casual lunch so much easier when he can just chill beside me.

Came here on a quieter weeknight with a couple of mates. The vibe was super chill, perfect for catching up. The food was the real star though – everything we ordered was tasty and didn't break the bank.

The staff were genuinely nice. Our server was attentive, checking in regularly, and was helpful about what was out of stock. It made for a pleasant, relaxed meal. The only slight thing was a bit of a wait for our mains.

Loved how dog-friendly this place is. Brought my pup and they even brought her a water bowl. The mix of locals and visitors gives it a really nice, relaxed vibe.

Lunch deal's solid. Three courses for under £16. Had the cheesecake. That was the bit I'll remember.

Clean place, good for a big group. We were 8 and got seated right away. The food was decent, nothing fancy but everyone found something they liked. Kids enjoyed the chicken fingers.

The Sunday roast was spot on. The meat was good quality, veg cooked just right, and the Yorkshire pudding was fantastic. Cauliflower cheese was a nice extra.

Nice spot near the station, so easy to pop in. The interior is modern and feels quite cozy. Had the grilled salmon, which was pretty good, though the portion was a touch small for the price.

The breakfast rolls are a solid choice. Sausage and bacon were cooked just right, and for the price, you get a decent portion that kept me full till lunch. Good value for a quick bite.

Really appreciate the gluten-free options here. My friend has Celiac and felt safe ordering. The chicken tenders and loaded fries were both marked clearly. It's a relief to find a place that takes dietary needs seriously.

Fresh seafood, especially the sizzling platter, was spot on. The wine list had some nice local options that paired well.

Stopped by for lunch, didn't realise it was fully halal. Good to know for friends with dietary needs. The chicken dish was tasty and the bill was pretty fair.

A decent spot for lunch. The salads were pretty fresh and the prices seemed fine. It's just a short walk to the beach, which is nice. The menu had a good variety, though the place got a bit busy.

Daniel was so helpful and considerate. He made sure our friends who are blind felt completely at ease, describing the menu and the layout of the table. It was a really thoughtful touch that made the whole dinner so much more relaxed for everyone.

Our server was so helpful! She walked us through all the different steak cuts, which was a lifesaver since my friends and I were all a bit clueless. Made picking what to share way less stressful. 😅

The fish and chips portion was huge, which was a nice surprise. The fish was fresh and cooked well, with a decent batter. It's a solid choice for a casual meal, though the chips were just okay.

A lovely Christmas dinner with friends. I really appreciated how fresh the ingredients were in the roast turkey and sides. The vegetables had a nice crunch to them, which is so important. A very pleasant, wholesome meal.

Great atmosphere, and the food was really fresh. Staff were friendly and helpful too.

The open BBQ at the entrance is a nice touch. Good for a quick business lunch, tables are well-spaced.

Love that this place is the oldest pub in Newport, you can really feel the history. The real ales are spot on, and the staff were so friendly and helpful. It's a proper, unchanged local gem.

Lovely evening enjoying their Spanish tapas. I really appreciate the concise menu - makes choosing easier when you're focused on fresh ingredients. The patatas bravas were spot on, crispy outside and fluffy inside. A nice, simple selection.

The building is lovely and has a proper old-fashioned feel. We sat upstairs and there was plenty of room, which was nice. The portion sizes were decent for the price, I wasn't left hungry.
