The building is lovely and has a proper old-fashioned feel. We sat upstairs and there was plenty of room, which was nice. The portion sizes were decent for the price, I wasn't left hungry.

Lovely little Danish bakery in Cardiff. The cafe garden out back is a real gem, so peaceful with the ivy on the walls. Perfect for a quiet coffee and a cinnamon swirl.

Coffee was top. Staff were really on it - heard the hot chocolates were for the kids and made them just the right temp. My two reckon they're the best they've ever had. 👍

Nice relaxed pub vibe, great for catching up with friends over a few pints. The bar staff were really chill.

The jibox has a huge selection of songs, which was a fun touch. The bar staff were really friendly and made for a nice evening out. Drinks were decent, though the music did get a bit loud later on.

Breakfast was a nice surprise, good value.

The afternoon tea is a solid deal. The scones were warm and crumbly, served with proper clotted cream. The selection of finger sandwiches was fresh, though the cakes were a touch too sweet for my taste. Good portion for the price.

Stumbled upon this spot. Loved that they welcomed our dog! Salads were tasty, nice relaxed vibe.

Sunday lunch here, the lamb and beef were spot on. Tender, good flavour, proper gravy. Portions are decent. It's a solid choice for a weekend roast.

Been coming here for years, and the quality is always spot on. The cheese toastie is a bit steep for what it is, though.

The smashed patty with the crispy edge was spot on. For the price, I'd expect a bit more than just the burger though.

Lovely little garden out back, full of herbs. Had the toasted sandwich from the lunch menu. It's a small selection, but what they do is done well. Service was friendly and unhurried, which I really appreciate. A very comfortable spot for a quiet bite.

Lovely spot for coffee and cake after a lakeside walk. The atmosphere is very cozy. I appreciated that the cake wasn't overly sweet, and you could really taste the fresh berries. A nice, simple treat.
