Service is much quicker now, and the place feels cleaner. The new team is definitely making a difference.

Parking was a bit of a hunt on a Friday evening. Had to circle the block twice before finding a spot a few streets over. Not a huge deal, but something to factor in if you're on a tight schedule.

Arrived early and the restaurant was very busy, but within 5minutes were where taken and showed to our table. we were asked if the area was okay and also if we were allergic to any ingredients, and informed that our waiter was called Nia. About 5minutes Nia arrived and again asked if were were allergic to any ingredients, then asked if we were ready to order, otherwise she would give us more time. She took our order, and delivered our drinks and my starter. The Prawn Cocktail that I had was exactly as I liked it and after eating it, we went and got our roast meals. Overhaul the food and drinks were perfect, the lady who showed us to our table came and checked to see if everything was fine, which it was. Nia, the lady who took our order and brought my Prawn Cocktail plus drinkswas charming and very helpful as was the other lady with short hair who took us to our table. Please convey our thanks to both of them, we have been many times before and always have never been disappointed there.

Really nice staff, super friendly and attentive. Felt totally welcome even though we rolled in straight from a hike in our gear. Professional but still warm, which was a nice touch.

Olya was really nice and helpful with her suggestions. We shared the seafood platter, it was lovely. Just a nice, relaxed meal.

Quiz night with the live band was a blast. The vibe was spot on. My usual pizza, the spicy salami, still hit the mark – crispy base, good quality pepperoni. A solid Wednesday night out.

Love that they have so many gluten-free choices. The owner came over to check on us and seemed really clued up about allergies. Nice, relaxed vibe for a neighbourhood place.

The portions are huge for what you pay. We got the baklava to share and it was lovely, really hit the spot. Just a shame the coffee was a bit weak.

The staff were so friendly and made our little catch-up feel really relaxed. Prices are decent for what you get.

Been coming here for years. The owners are Malaysian and you can feel that personal touch in the food.

The staff were really friendly! Food came out super fast and piping hot, which I always appreciate. The place was spotless too, you can tell they care about that. A solid spot for a quick, reliable bite.

Been a regular here for decades, honestly. Prices have crept up a bit lately, but the portions are still generous. You definitely get what you pay for.

The steak was cooked just right, medium-rare and juicy. Good portion for the price. Menu had plenty of other choices too, saw some nice fish and veggie plates. Solid spot.

Nice old-school spot. The full English was spot on, and the tea served in a proper china pot made it feel like a proper breakfast.

Quick lunch spot, good for dietary needs. My partner has Coeliac disease and they sorted a gluten-free option without any fuss. Food came out fast, which is what I need on a short break. Decent portion, kept us going.

Loved the Pash 'N Shoot smoothie, so fresh. The place itself is really cute inside. Staff were lovely. My only note is that the drink menu felt a bit limited for a cafe this nice – a solid house cocktail or a suggested wine pairing would have been a nice touch.

The owner is so lovely, really takes the time to chat and explain the authentic menu. It makes the whole place feel warm and personal.

Tried the fish and chips here, proper crispy batter and chunky chips. Ended up staying for the sticky toffee pudding, which was a nice surprise.

Been coming here for years, and the full English is always spot on. Not greasy, just cooked right every time. That's what keeps me coming back.

Been getting delivery from them for a while now. Food always shows up hot and exactly what we ordered. The chicken strips are really good, no complaints there.

Came with a group of kids and they were really accommodating, no fuss. Food arrived super quick, which is a lifesaver with little ones. The portions were decent for the price, felt like a fair deal.

Decent portions for the price. Had the steak frites, and the house red they suggested was a solid pairing. A reliable spot when you just want a proper meal without fuss.
