The lamb rogan josh here is the real deal. The sauce is thick and rich, with a deep, slow-cooked flavour. The meat just falls apart. It's got a proper kick to it, too. One of the better curries I've had in a while.

A decent vegetarian spot. Their menu keeps getting better, everything feels quite thoughtful. The chickpea curry was pretty good, just a touch salty for my taste.

Been coming here for years, and the consistency is what keeps me coming back. The staff are always so helpful, like that time they made a special dish for my friend's dietary needs. It's the little things.

Rita was so lovely, really took the time to explain everything to me as it was my first visit. The menu can be a bit overwhelming, so her patience made all the difference. We had a nice, relaxed meal because of it.

Been coming here for years. The food is always spot on, honestly the best Chinese takeaway in Cardiff for flavour. Just wish the portions were a bit bigger sometimes.

I highly recommend this restaurant for its great food and efficient service. Liz made sure we had everything we needed during our visit.

Friendly pub with a nice outdoor area for summer. The beer selection is solid, and they had a couple of interesting craft options on tap that hit the spot.

The pistachio croissant was the star for me. Perfectly flaky, with a generous, not-too-sweet filling. The lemon drizzle cake was good, moist and tangy. Good to see unsweetened soya milk on offer too.

The service was pretty good. Staff were very respectful and accommodating, especially for guests with specific needs. Made for a welcoming atmosphere. A solid spot if you're looking for that.

Perfect for a quick lunch. Food's decent, service is fast and friendly.

The small plates were pretty good and nicely presented. Decent value for the price.

We had a lovely dinner. The food was delicious, and the staff were very friendly. The only thing was, it did take a little while to get our bill sorted at the end.

A solid Sunday roast. The meat was generous, and the trimmings were spot on. A robust red from their list paired beautifully with the rich gravy. Just what you want from a proper pub lunch.

The Sunday roast is as good as they say. The beef and pork belly were spot on, with plenty of veg. Connor was a top lad.

The food presentation is stunning. Their wine list had some interesting pairings to complement the colourful dishes.

First time in, and the food was just as good as everyone says. The service was really on point too. Just a heads up, they prefer cash.

The brisket melt sandwich was spot on, just like you'd get in a proper American diner. Great for sharing with friends, the portions are massive!

The staff here are always friendly and attentive. Quick to refill drinks and check on orders. Makes the after-work pint very efficient.

The portion sizes here are generous for the price, which I appreciate. I noticed the salad greens were particularly fresh and crisp. Makes it feel like a good value meal without compromising on ingredient quality.

Had a business lunch here. Billy, our waiter, was on point - quick, knew the menu, and kept things moving without hovering. Exactly the kind of efficient service you need when you're on a schedule. The steak was cooked right, no fuss.

The curries are seriously flavourful, and the chicken was spot-on. Portions are big, I couldn't finish mine. Good stuff.

Been coming here for years, and that fireplace is the main reason. It's just the right kind of cozy on a cold night. You can grab a corner table, and it feels like your own little spot for the evening.
