The owner was really sweet and clearly cares about the food. Samosas tasted fresh, and the chai was proper. Nice little spot in the city center.

The salmon tartare was really good, and the cafe gourmand totally hit the spot. Place is a bit tucked away but the terrace is nice for hanging out with friends. 🐶

Staff were the highlight honestly. Helped sort out a room issue even called the UK for us. Felt properly looked after.

The summer terrace is such a nice spot for Korean BBQ. We grabbed sushi too and it hit the spot. Staff were friendly enough. Just book ahead, it fills up fast.

We got a table for eight on a busy night without a reservation, which was lucky. The food was solid, but what really stood out was our waitress. She took all our orders without writing anything down and got everything right. That kind of attention makes you feel looked after. Only tiny thing—the table felt a bit cramped, but we managed fine.

Lovely little spot. The terrace is so spacious, perfect for a lazy summer afternoon. Just sat there for hours with a coffee and a croissant, watching the world go by.

Stopped by for a quick lunch. Owner’s friendly, made the whole thing easy. Got the cocktail too—honestly the best part. Food was solid, nothing crazy but hit the spot. Place was a bit busy but service kept up. Fine if you need a fast bite nearby.

The diavola pizza was properly spicy, and the carbonara had that creamy texture I was hoping for. Portions are big too. Service was quick but a bit cold, could've smiled more.

Patio seating was nice, beef salad and filet with potatoes Dauphinoise hit the spot. Kids cleaned their plates too. Prices fair for what you get. A glass of red would've paired well with that filet.

Dinner for two came to €78 — that’s with a starter and two mains, no drinks. Portions are decent, not huge, but you won’t leave hungry. The duck was cooked well, sauce a bit heavy though. Place filled up by 8, got pretty loud. Fine if you’re after a solid meal without fuss.

Stopped by for a quick bite and honestly the burger caught me off guard. Juicy, messy, way bigger than I expected. Dame Blanche on the side was solid too, plenty of ice cream. Place was a bit busy but whatever. Good spot if you're in the area and hungry.

The Hoi A treasures and the Mekong noodle bowl were really good. You could taste the care in the broth, deep and layered. Not the usual tourist stuff. I'd go back just for that bowl, honestly.

The wagyu brisket was spot on, tender and rich. Cocktails were solid too. Only thing—the bread came out a bit burnt, which was a small letdown. Still, the warm vibe inside made it a nice stop.

The staff were so warm and helpful when I asked for suggestions. They made the whole evening feel easy and relaxed.

Sat outside with a Viez and went for the Träipen with Teerdisch. The black pudding was braised just right with onions and apple, and the mash and sauerkraut worked well with it. Proper rustic stuff. Only thing—service took a bit to get to us, but the food made up for it.

Solid Japanese comfort food in Trier. The hikiniku curry rice was well-seasoned, kimchi had a nice citrusy kick. Service quick and friendly. Gets busy on weekends though, so book ahead.

Service was friendly and attentive, and the rustic dining room added to the charm. The food was well-seasoned and satisfying.

Nice little terrace, good wine list. Got the charcuterie platter and it hit the spot. Staff was chill, not hovering. Place has a decent vibe for an afternoon glass.

The old brewery vats and engines give the place real character. Nice break from the tourist spots.
