The courtyard garden is lovely when it's warm out. Got the schnitzel, service was quick and friendly. Solid spot for a lunch break.

The café’s shut for renovation until April 2026, which is a bummer. But honestly, the terrace is still worth hanging around if you’re there for the magnolias. We grabbed a coffee from the kiosk nearby and just sat outside. No big spend, just a decent spot to people-watch. I wouldn’t go out of my way, but if you’re in the area, it’s fine.

The schnitzel with pineapple and gouda was a nice twist, and it came out fast. Portion was decent for the price, though service gets a bit scattered when they're busy.

We grabbed takeout for a group and honestly the food was super well prepared. Packed up nicely too, everything stayed warm. There was a small mix-up with one order but the staff sorted it out fast, no drama. Would definitely order from here again when we're all hanging out. Solid spot for a casual group feed 🍜

We've been coming here for years, and the octopus is still the standout. Meat platters were solid, too. Friendly service and the ouzo to start and finish. Decent spot.

The mixed grill platter was solid—good portions, meat cooked right. The garlic herb butter with the bread was the highlight for me. Ended with warm honey schnapps, nice touch.

The half roast chicken was solid, juicy and well-seasoned. Cordon bleu looked good too, though I only tried a bite of my friend's. Place has that classic German tavern feel, wooden tables and all. Seats are a bit hard after an hour, but that's kind of expected. Would come back for the chicken.

Came here for lunch on a sunny day, sat outside on the terrace. The pork knuckle was huge, crispy skin, exactly what I wanted. But honestly, the price felt a bit steep for what you get. A beer and a main came to nearly 30 euros. Tasty, sure, but I left thinking the portion-to-price ratio could be better. Nice spot though, staff were friendly.

Room was clean and quiet, slept well. Dinner was decent, nothing fancy but solid. Breakfast included, which was a nice bonus. Fine for a stopover.

Been coming here for a while now. Service gets a bit stretched when it’s packed, but the staff still manage to stay friendly. That’s honestly why I keep coming back. Just a solid, no-fuss spot for a relaxed meal when you don’t want to deal with anything fancy.

The asparagus flammkuchen was decent, but honestly the pork schnitzel was the better pick. Mushroom sauce got a bit salty though. €7 for bottled water felt steep for what it is.

Came here with a couple of friends on a random weekday evening. The herbs from their own garden really stood out — everything tasted fresh and light. We ordered a few seasonal dishes and shared everything. Wine pairing was nice too, though the portions could be a bit bigger for the price. Cozy vibe, good for a relaxed catch-up. 🌿

The desserts here are fresh and delicious, making it a must-visit for anyone with a sweet tooth. Definitely worth stopping by!

Service was solid - they adjusted the spice on the Hunan chicken without any fuss. That's always a plus in my book. Portion was decent for the price, nothing crazy but fair. Place was busy but we got seated quick enough. Would come back if I'm in the area and craving that dish again.

Stopped by for a hot chocolate. Thick, not too sweet. Cake was fresh too. Place has that old-school charm, kinda touristy but whatever. Staff was nice. Solid spot for a quick break.

The waitress was so friendly and patient. She even had a great sense of humor, which made the whole meal feel very relaxed. The atmosphere was pleasant, too. A very comfortable spot.

We were welcomed really easily, the service was fast and polite. Everyone in the group liked their dishes and there wasn´t anything to criticize.

Went for dinner, place is part of a youth hostel so it’s got that canteen vibe. Menu changes daily, which I liked. Had the veggie option, decent enough. Indoor seating is a bit basic, but there’s a comfier section if you grab it. Fine for a casual meal, nothing fancy.

Lovely spot for a relaxed lunch. Sat outside under the trees and it was really pleasant. The €14.80 two-course deal is fair for what you get. I had the bouchée à la reine and it was fresh, no complaints. Staff were friendly and let me take my time. Only small thing—service was a bit slow at first, but fine once we got going.

Came here on a busy evening. Place is big, seats are fine, but it gets really loud once it fills up. Had the schnitzel, decent enough. Service took a while though, we waited a good 15 minutes just for the drinks. Not bad for a casual stop, just don't come here if you're in a hurry.

The cakes are solid, no question. But that older lady at the register could warm up a bit. Younger staff are friendly enough. Quality keeps me coming back though.

The burgers were actually really good - mine came out cooked exactly how I asked. Sweet potato fries on the side were the highlight though, crispy and not greasy at all. Place was busy but we got our food quick. Would come back for those fries alone.

Stopped here before the Saar Loop. The schnitzel was solid, crispy, not greasy. Service was friendly enough. Would eat here again.
