But, when you're in Guayaquil, a lot of the better restaurants are in hotels. So, you have no choice. La Caña has good traditional food. Their decor is nice, but not fancy. Also, their prices are reasonable for the quality of food. Best of all, the service was very attentive, the dry goat was not dry, and was really, really good. The mashed plantains stuffed with tuna were listed as an app, but were large enough to eat as a main course and so delicious.
