I was traveling alone and wanted to Tyler the authentic Belgium food, I eat de carbonnade flamande and really traste so good. The staff was gentle and fast service

Decent spot for a catch-up with old colleagues. Food was pretty good, nothing fancy but solid. The setting is relaxed enough that you can actually talk without shouting. We stayed a while and nobody rushed us. Maybe not the most exciting menu, but it did the job fine for what we needed.

Grabbed a table without booking, got lucky. Grilled sea bream was spot on, flaky and fresh. Local beers on tap were solid. Place gets packed fast though, so if you're rolling in blind like me, timing matters. Quick bite before the crowd hit, no complaints. Just don't expect a quiet meal, it's lively.

Sitting at the counter is great — you can watch the chefs prep everything. Fresh ingredients, clearly handled with care. Just wish the room didn't smell so much like cooking by the end.

Tried the tasting menu and honestly the salmon carpaccio was the star for me. So fresh, melted right on the tongue. The rest was solid too, nothing felt like filler. Service stayed sharp even when the room got busy. Only tiny thing—pacing was a bit quick between courses. But I left full and happy.

Came here with the family last Saturday. Place was busy but we got a table quick enough. Staff friendly, didn't rush us. Had the grilled chicken and it was decent, sauce could use a bit more kick though. Menu's got plenty of options so everyone found something. Just book ahead if you're coming on a weekend, it fills up fast.

Came for the tapas and left full without spending a fortune. The patatas bravas were a solid portion, not one of those tiny plates that leave you ordering more. Paella was decent too. Place was buzzing, but we didn't wait long for food. Would go back for the price alone.

Sushi was fresh, some of the best I've had in Waterloo. Staff friendly, service quick when dining in. Delivery was slow though.

Stopped by for a quick bite and a drink. Nothing fancy, but the portion was decent for what you pay. I had the pasta and it filled me up without breaking the bank. Service was fine, no complaints. Solid spot if you're hungry and don't want to overthink it.

The 6-course menu was good, though I found it odd that dessert wasn’t included when the 5-course was. Service felt a bit distant for a Michelin-starred spot, but the cozy room kept it pleasant.

We stopped by for lunch and sat on the garden terrace—really pleasant in the warm weather. Food was nicely presented, portions generous. Service was friendly without hovering, which I appreciated. Prices felt fair for what you got. Only tiny thing: we waited a bit for the bill, but nothing to complain about really. Solid spot if you want an easy meal.

The lighting in there is really something—soft, warm, makes you want to linger. Staff were nice too, not pushy. Prices though, oof. A bit steep for what you get, but I didn't mind while sitting there. Just a simple dinner, nothing fancy, but the atmosphere carried it.

We stopped in on a quiet evening and grabbed a table near the open kitchen. Lamb was cooked properly, cod was decent too. Plating looked classic, nothing fussy. Wine by the glass was fine and reasonably priced. Just wish the service had been a bit more attentive, but overall a solid meal.

The tapas were pretty good and the wine list is decent without being overpriced. Mario and Ellen made us feel at home. Solid spot.

Decent spot with a big menu — Italian, Asian, all sorts. I had the pasta and it was pretty good. Staff were friendly enough, didn’t rush us. Place got a bit noisy later on, but fine for a casual meal. Wouldn’t mind going back if I’m in the area.

The terrace view is really nice, and the milk chocolate cocktail was a fun surprise. Menu's got plenty of options. Just wish the portions were a bit bigger for what you pay.

Been coming here for years, mostly for the grilled octopus and the house wine. Portions are generous, prices fair. The retsina pairs well with the lamb. Service can be slow when it's packed, but that's fine. Just order another carafe and wait it out. Solid spot.

The braised duck soup is still my go-to here. Broth’s a touch salty but that crispy skin keeps me coming back. Perfect for a cold night.

Short menu but everything tasted super fresh. You can really tell they care about the ingredients. Cozy vibe too, good spot for a chill dinner.

The maki here are really well made—lots of filling, not too much rice. Some of the best sushi I’ve found in the area, honestly.

Decent spot right on the Grand Place. We grabbed a window table and just watched the square for a while over a couple of beers. Interior has that classic brasserie look, pretty impressive actually. Service was fine, nothing to complain about. Prices are a bit touristy, but you're paying for the location, I guess.

Food's solid and portions are generous, though the bill stings a bit. You're definitely paying for that location. Service was friendly enough.

The eggs Benedict station was the highlight — chef made mine perfectly runny. Solid brunch spread for the price.

Pizza by weight. Cut fresh when you ask. Crust was properly crispy, toppings didn't taste like they'd been sitting out. Easy to grab too much though—slices are heavier than they look. Paid more than I planned but whatever. Solid spot for a quick bite.

The terrace out back is a nice bonus, and the meat quality really stood out. Service was friendly too, though it did get a bit busy later on.

Been coming here for a while now. The food stays consistent, which is honestly why I keep going back. Last time I sat near the door and it got pretty chilly when the wind picked up. Not a dealbreaker, but grab a spot further in if you can. Still solid for a casual meal.

Food was solid but honestly the service felt a bit all over the place. We had to flag someone down for the wine pairing details. Nice vibe inside though, just pricey for what it is.

Fresh dim sum and quick service before the rush. My wine pairing worked nicely with the shrimp dumplings.

The restaurant is not too spacious and also offers takeaway,... the result is that you get people getting in and out, you feel the chill/cold coming in. Overall just too many movement to make eating here an enjoyable experience.

The beef stew was rich and really comforting. Service was friendly and quick too. Perfect spot to stop before exploring the city.
