Came here for New Year's Eve. They started us off with a glass of prosecco, which was a lovely touch. The tables had a good spread of meats and cheeses to nibble on. It was a relaxed, friendly evening - the karaoke was fun without being too loud or overwhelming.

Lovely spot after a long walk in the North Pennines. They have a really good selection of local ales. The staff were friendly and the seating was comfortable, which was just what I needed.

Been here a few times now. The food is always spot on, you can tell the chef really cares about what they're putting out. That's what keeps me coming back.

The beef pie was the star for me. Flaky pastry, rich filling, just spot on. Honestly the best I've had. The rest of the meal was nice, but that pie made the visit.

Perfectly located in the town centre, just a short walk from the station. Managed to get a table without any fuss on a busy Saturday, which was a nice surprise. The space itself is really light and airy, with high ceilings and big windows.

Been a few times now, always a good time. They've got those outdoor heaters and blankets, really makes a difference on a cool evening. Music's just right, not too loud. It's a nice, relaxed spot.

The staff were so lovely! They made us feel right at home as soon as we arrived. Service was quick and friendly, which is perfect when you're catching up with friends and don't want to wait around.

Popped in for lunch. The grilled salmon was really good, fresh and cooked just right. Service was quick and friendly. Might stop by again if I'm in the area.

Love the quirky decor here. Staff are really friendly too. Their 6% pub IPA is solid, and the fridges have some interesting finds.

Been here a few times now. The sausages are always spot on, not greasy at all. Pizzas are solid, simple, and just what you want. Staff are friendly, place is relaxed. Good for a straightforward meal.

Great spot for a sunny afternoon! The outdoor seating at the back was lovely, and the little play area kept my friend's toddler happy for ages. We just had drinks, but the garden felt really relaxed.

Lovely spot for a drink by the water. The patio view is just perfect for unwinding. They had a local musician playing last night, which was a nice touch. A bit pricey for the cocktails, but you're paying for that view.

Great vibe with the live guitarist playing rock tunes. Ended up staying for an extra round.

The lamb shank was the standout. Cooked for hours, it fell apart with just a fork. The red wine sauce was rich and deep, not too sweet. Portion was generous. Could have used a bit more seasoning on the meat itself, but the sauce covered it.

The Cumberland Ale was a great match for the Cowboy Burger. Generous portions, and the sticky toffee pudding was a treat.

A lovely dog-friendly pub in the heart of Keswick. The staff were so welcoming, even for our walk-in group with a pram. The atmosphere is warm and the pub itself is clean and cozy.

The waitress was absolutely on it, really knew her stuff. Suggested a local ale that went perfectly with the hearty steak pie. Portions are generous, proper pub food. Service like that is a rare treat these days.

Had the chicken and chorizo pasta, it was so good! My partner loved his sausage too. The best part was the big plates - we all got to share a bit of everything while we chatted. Perfect for a catch-up with friends.

Good spot for a casual drink. They have the sports on, but it's not too loud or crowded. Had a burger and a pint while catching up on emails. Solid choice for a quick, no-fuss bite near the office.

Popped in for lunch with friends last week. We all got the salmon special with prawns and veg - the creamy sauce was spot on. Good for sharing a few plates and a catch-up. Might be back when I'm next in Bowness.

Been coming here for years. The vegan stuffed roasted pepper is always spot on. You can tell they put care into it. Nice to have a proper option for different diets.

Great spot for live music, the vibe is spot on. Inside is way more spacious than you'd think from the street. The acoustics are good, not too loud to chat. My only gripe is the table service was a bit slow once the band started.

Loved the lamb skewers! The patatas bravas are honestly the best I've had. The cosy, Sicilian vibe is just right for a relaxed catch-up with friends. We ended up staying for ages.

Modern and comfortable spot. Staff were quick and friendly. Just had a coffee, but it was good. Convenient location for a quick stop. I'll be back.

Stayed in a dog-friendly room with the family and our little one. Staff were really good with our son, made him feel at home. The room was fine, nothing fancy but clean. Decent spot for a night with the dog.

Had the Sunday roast here. The portion was generous, especially the roast potatoes and Yorkshire pudding. Good value for the price. The burger looked decent too, but I stuck with the roast.

Great spot for a quick lunch. Found a table outside, service was fast. Fish and chips were decent, nothing fancy but hit the spot. Good for when you're in a rush.

Karis was so lovely! She really made sure we had a great night out with my friends. The cocktails were a nice surprise, really well-made. It’s the kind of service that makes a casual dinner feel a bit more special.

After our hike, the steak and ale pie was a proper comfort meal. The Stilton gave it a nice sharp kick. The menu looked good, but honestly, I was too hungry to even think about the other options.

Been here twice now. The food's really good. Friday evenings are packed, but Saturday mornings are much more relaxed.
