The butternut squash soup was a generous bowl, very hearty. The ice cream float was a nice touch, but for the total bill, I was hoping for a bit more. Portions felt a touch small for the price.

Been coming here for years, and the desserts are always spot on. That chocolate torte last night? Perfectly balanced, not too sweet. Presentation is still lovely, but the portion felt a tiny bit smaller this time. Still, it's the one thing I keep coming back for.

Stumbled upon this spot and the mega breakfast was huge! Good ingredients for the price.

Really liked the vegan options here. Had the jackfruit tacos - the texture was spot on, and the spicy cashew cream was a nice touch. Prices felt fair for the portion. A solid spot for a casual plant-based lunch.

Been coming here for years. The fish pie's always spot on - creamy, flaky, and the mash on top is just right. It's the one thing I know I can count on.

Perfect for a quick bite. Their all-day breakfast is a treat, and they have solid gluten-free options. Got the eggs benedict, came out fast. Good spot when you're in a rush.

First time here for breakfast. Got the cheese on sourdough and a sausage roll. The sourdough was spot on, really good texture. Staff were quick and friendly. Nice local spot.

Been coming here for years, and the breakfast menu's consistency is what keeps me coming back. The full English is always cooked just right, never greasy. It's the one thing I can count on.

The bacon and egg roll was spot on. Crispy bacon, runny egg, just the right amount of sauce. Simple things done well are hard to beat for a weekend breakfast.

They went out of their way to get lactose-free cheese for my allergy, which was so thoughtful. My pasta was ready in no time and tasted lovely. A really nice touch.

The avocado toast was spot on, really fresh. Tiger prawn kedgeree had a nice kick to it. Good to see so many gluten-free and vegan choices on the menu, makes it easy for everyone.

Lovely spot for a quiet coffee. The outside seating is perfect when it's sunny, and they're so welcoming to dogs. Staff are friendly without being overbearing. Just a really warm, relaxed vibe.

The festive paninis were a real standout, and those pigs in blankets were huge! The steak and ale pie was tasty, and the service was warm. A solid spot for a casual bite.

Had a big family birthday here, 18 of us! The staff were so on top of things even though the place was packed. Felt really well looked after, which made the whole evening so much easier.

A classic spot with a solid menu. The gluten-free options were a nice surprise, honestly. My plate was huge, definitely didn't leave hungry.

The homemade soup and cheese scones really hit the spot. Came back for them a second time this week, the scones were still warm and flaky. Just what you need on a chilly day.

The gin list is huge, and the wine wall is actually affordable. Felt quite fancy but still cosy, just right for a quiet drink.

Comfy spot for a quick coffee and cake. I had the pancakes with streaky bacon and a fried egg - they were just right for a relaxed brunch. The staff were really friendly, which made the whole thing very easy.

The staff here are always so friendly and helpful. They remember our names and what the kids like to order. The play area keeps the little ones busy for ages, which is a lifesaver for us parents.

Love the vibe here! The walls are covered in funny quotes, perfect for a giggle with mates. Had the mint hot chocolate and a lemon drizzle cake. Service was quick, and we didn't feel rushed at all. A really nice spot for a catch-up.

Been coming here for years when I'm out walking. Got caught in a downpour yesterday and ducked in. Coffee's always good and strong, just what you need. Staff are nice, never feel rushed to leave. It's a proper local spot.

Stumbled upon this spot. Carrot cake is homemade, really good. Owners are friendly. Quick bite, perfect for a lunch break.

I popped in for a sandwich after a lakeside walk. The bread was clearly fresh, and the fillings were generous with crisp greens. It's nice to see a focus on quality ingredients. The sandwich was quite filling, which was perfect.

Lovely open space, and the drinks selection is impressive. Really appreciate the focus on fresh ingredients.

Great coffee selection and beans to buy. The historic building is a nice touch, but the seating is a bit tight for a business meeting.
