A solid spot for Latin American food in Edinburgh. The menu's got good variety, and the quality's been consistent on my lunch visits.

Had dinner upstairs, which was a nice change. The haggis was the star for me — really rich and flavourful. Our waiter was lovely, kept checking in without being over the top.

Great spot for lunch. The small plates are a treat, and the staff were spot-on with a wine suggestion that paired beautifully.

No. 9 of Bars in Edinburgh

Such a cosy spot for a catch-up! The owner was lovely, told us all about the recent refurb. The beer selection is huge, my friend spent ages deciding. Staff really know their stuff. Perfect for a relaxed evening with mates.

The vibe's still solid after all these visits. They keep it open late, which is a plus. Drinks selection is decent, nothing crazy but it does the job. Staff are always friendly, no complaints there.

Lovely neighbourhood pub, really feels like a local spot. The crowd was a nice mix of people, everyone just having a relaxed time. I found a cosy corner table and the staff were very friendly.

Great spot in the centre. Loved the vibe with the little lights, really cosy. Burgers were good, even for vegans.

A decent traditional pub right in the tourist centre. The vibe is cosy, and their local stout was pretty good. I’d pop in again, maybe to catch the live music.

Nice chill spot for lunch. The ham and cheese panini was tasty, and the staff were really friendly.

Popped in here to get away from the Royal Mile crowds. The fish and chips was massive, really hit the spot. The batter was crisp and the fish inside was proper flaky. Couldn't finish it all.

The homemade burger is a real standout. Fresh, crunchy toppings and you can tell they put a lot of effort into it. Great deal before 4pm with the free fries.

Cosy spot, lovely decor. Staff were genuinely friendly, not just polite. They took the time to chat about the local ales on tap and helped me pick one that went nicely with the steak pie. That kind of relaxed, knowledgeable service is a real plus. Felt very welcome.

Loved the vibe in this old pub! The building itself is so full of character, perfect for a chilled catch-up with mates. We found a cosy corner and the drinks list was spot on. Just a proper, traditional place for a pint and a good chat.

The cask ales here are a proper treat. I tried one that was new to me, and the bartender knew exactly how to describe it—malty with a hint of something fruity. Really hit the spot.

What a lovely pub! The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the food was delicious. It's a perfect place to relax after a walk around Arthur's Seat.

Love the quirky decor here, it really sets the vibe. The mismatched chairs and vintage posters make it feel like a fun, lived-in space. A nice change from the usual minimalist spots.

Love that you can BYO here. Popped into the bottle shop round the corner first, grabbed a nice red. Made the whole dinner feel so relaxed and easy. Perfect for a low-key night out.

Seasonal menu, local produce. Chicken schnitzel was spot on. Salmon with whiskey sauce, really good. Cocktails were interesting, not too sweet.

Been coming here for years, it’s my local. The staff are friendly, a bit all over the place sometimes, but it’s part of the charm. Feels like home. Good place to have a pint and chat.

Prawn linguine was excellent, best I've had in a while. Partner's smoked salmon salad also very good, fresh ingredients. Service was polite and efficient. Convenient location for a business lunch.

The burgers are seriously good - juicy and flavourful. My friends and I had a great time sharing a couple over some drinks. The staff were really nice and checked in on us just the right amount. Perfect for a casual catch-up.

The service here is exceptional! Our server Liv was attentive and provided great recommendations, enhancing our dining experience significantly.

Love the fresh ingredients here. The salad was crisp and the chicken was perfectly grilled. A nice spot for a healthy meal.

The venison haunch was great, but the portion felt a bit small for the price. The house cognac cocktail was a nice touch though.

The staff were so nice about our luggage - we had a couple of bags with us and they just offered to keep them behind the counter without us even asking. Really appreciated that, made the lunch feel relaxed.

Popped in for a quick breakfast. The BLT bagel was solid, really fresh. Came with a huge side salad, which was a nice touch. The place itself has a good vibe, and it's just a stone's throw from Dean Village.

This pub offers a fantastic atmosphere with traditional Scottish food that is absolutely delicious. The service is friendly and attentive, making it a great spot for families and friends alike.

The Guinness was spot on, honestly the best pint we had on the trip. The place itself is nice and relaxed, good for families. Just a heads up though, it's not the cheapest spot for a pint.

Came for a quiet pint. The place is warm and the staff are really nice, made me feel comfortable straight away. Good spot to unwind after a long day. Prices are fair for the area, didn't feel like I was overpaying for a drink.

Been here for breakfast a couple of times now. The Lorne sausage roll is spot on, really hits the spot. Fresh orange juice is good too. Decent way to start the day.
