This KFC is just opposite the entrance to the Giza Pyramids Scenic Area, and there is a Pizza Hut upstairs. I went into the store just to see if there was anything special and different from the food in China. The clerk recommended me a chicken burger, which looked a bit like a baguette hot dog, long and enough for two girls. The chicken inside was two chicken patties. Although the chicken tasted solid, the taste was a bit monotonous. The price was not cheaper than that in China. At his place, you can watch the sound and light show on the opposite pyramid for free at night, but the best location is still the Pizza Hut upstairs.

If they offer to show you around or take you places unless you ask for directions or information, they're usually scams. 4⃣️Anyone who tells you the pyramids are closed today, offers to show you around or buy tickets, or chases you for photos is a scam. Ignore them. ▫️ 5⃣️Souvenir vendors at the entrances of the pyramids or the Egyptian Museum repeatedly hawking "one dollar" items—not to mention the poor quality of their magnets and papyrus paintings, they're not genuine one-dollar items. Many people who've been scammed say they were actually one-dollar items. 6⃣️A camel ride at the pyramids can be as low as 100 EL, while a horse-drawn carriage ride is around 300 EL. Negotiate the price before you get on the horse. It's recommended to record a video as proof to avoid the driver getting angry. ▫️ 7⃣️All restrooms charge a fee. Keep plenty of change, otherwise you might encounter someone at the door who refuses to give you change and acts like they're being rude. Never answer the person standing by the restroom tissue dispenser to help you with paper, and don't even take the paper if she offers it to you. Do you trust her with a dollar bill? 8⃣️ The items at Khalili Market are clearly made in Yiwu. If you really want to shop, the first thing to do is to keep an eye on your bag and bargain hard. ▫️ 9⃣️ Whether you're at a street vendor or a chain like KFC, remember to count the change in front of the cashier. We've encountered countless instances where they deliberately undercharged the cashier, and when we pointed it out, they would immediately and reluctantly take the correct amount from the counter, proving they knew the correct amount from the start! 🔟 Juice at a street vendor is only $1-2 a glass.
