The duck was spot on, crispy skin and all. The pear gave it a nice sweet touch. Flammkuchen was even better than what we had in Strasbourg.

The burrata flatbread was spot on, great start. Just wish they'd clean the board between cutting fish and meat.

The menu is small, which I actually like. Everything we had was made well, nothing fancy but solid. The desserts were a decent way to end the meal. Cozy inside, not too loud for a weekday evening. Service was fine, though we waited a bit longer than expected for the bill. Pretty good spot overall.

Stopped by for dinner last week. Food was solid, well prepared and plated nicely. Wine list has some good options too. Service was friendly without being pushy. Only thing is it's a bit pricey for what you get, but that's typical for the area. Would come back if I'm in the mood for something a little nicer.

Solid pork shoulder, proper Franconian stuff. Apfelstrudel was the highlight though. Service kept up even when it got busy.

The ciabatta was genuinely good, and my coffee came out strong and hot. Quiet spot for a late afternoon break. The price felt fair for what you get around here. I did wish they had a better wine list though, even just one decent red would've made it perfect. Still, solid for a quick bite.

Solid Thai place near the library. The 6€ lunch deal is really good, and they got me out fast even though it was busy. Nice to have that option around here.

The Double Smashed Burger was solid again—juicy, good bun. Their daiquiri list has a few interesting picks. Happy hour deals are decent if you can wait that long.

The Big Fat Greek was the one we kept going back to. So much flavor, honestly the best thing on the menu. We grabbed it as a quick bite with friends and it didn’t disappoint. Place got a bit busy later, but whatever. Would totally order that again! 😊

Service was friendly, prices fair. Had the kellerbier, decent enough. One thing though: the "Schnitt" half-beer isn't much of a deal. You pay almost the same but get noticeably less. Fine if you just want a quick one, but don't expect savings.

The veggie burger was actually decent—big enough that I couldn’t finish it. Staff didn’t blink when I asked for a box, which was nice. Not the usual falafel situation for once. Place was a bit loud though, but fine for a quick bite.

Stopped by for a quick lunch. Place was packed but got a seat fast. Beer came quick, food took a bit longer. Had the schäufele, pretty solid. Classic Bamberg spot, full of locals. Not fancy but does the job if you want a proper beer and a decent meal.

Smoked beer was spot on — that Bamberg flavor hits different. Place was packed but the staff still managed to keep things moving.

Best Indian food I've had in Germany, hands down. That homemade lemonade is something else. Staff were friendly and took good care of us.

Solid spot for a casual drink. Lots of beers on tap and the outdoor seating is a nice touch. Been here a few times now, always consistent.

Stopped by for a quick dinner. Beer was solid, schnitzel came out a bit dry but still okay. Place works if you need something casual without fuss. Service was fast enough, no complaints there. Fair for the price, wouldn't go out of my way but fine for a stop nearby.

Stumbled in on a holiday when everything else was shut. Food looked as good as it tasted. Staff kept it together on a busy night. Bit of a hike from old town though.

Been coming here for a while now. The pizza stays consistently good, which is why I keep going back. Service can be a bit hit or miss, but the food makes up for it.

Came here with a bigger group and they handled it really well. Food was solid, desserts went fast, and the beer did its job. Felt like a place that’s used to tourists, which helps. Wouldn’t mind going back for a quieter meal though.

The breakfast spread looked fresh, and the filtered coffee was a solid start to the day. My eggs came out fast, though the portion felt a bit small for the price.

Beautiful castle setting and the food was really well done. We did the wine pairing with dinner, such a nice touch for a night out with friends. ✨

We walked in without a booking on a busy Friday and still got a warm welcome. The staff didn’t rush us at all. I had the truffle pasta — creamy, rich, exactly what I needed after a long week. Not the cheapest spot, but the quality shows. Would come back next time I’m in the area.

The owner’s a real character and the Kartoffel Klöße with Braten hit the spot. Quick bite, no fuss.

We went for dinner and the seating situation really stood out to me. The chairs are those wooden ones that look nice but get uncomfortable after an hour. Food was decent, portions generous, and the bill for three with drinks came to about €65. Just wish the cushions were a bit softer.

Stopped by for a burger and a drink. Burgers are solid, no complaints. Cocktails were okay but nothing I'd remember. Place has a decent vibe, not too loud. Service was quick enough for a weekday evening. Fair price for what you get. Would come back if I'm in the area and want something simple.

Stopped by for a quick lunch. Food was solid, nothing crazy, but the staff really made it easy. Got my order fast, which I appreciated. Cozy spot, not too loud. Would come back if I'm in the area and need something quick.

We’ve been coming here for a while now, and the kitchen still remembers my fiancé’s peanut allergy without us having to remind them. That alone keeps us coming back. Food’s been solid every single time, too. If you’re in Bamberg and need a place that actually takes allergies seriously, this is it.

Generous portions and fair prices, that's what I noticed first. The chanterelle dish was fresh and well prepared. Solid spot if you're hungry and don't want to overpay.

Came here on a whim and honestly the cocktails were the highlight. Bartender knew what they were doing, made me something off-menu that hit the spot. Place has a nice low-key vibe, not too loud. Only thing is the seating's a bit cramped, but I'd still go back for another drink.
