Lovely spot for a relaxed dinner. The atmosphere was just right, not too loud. I tried their special pasta and it was spot on, really fresh. A bit on the pricier side, but nice for a treat.

Been coming here for years, and the portions are still as generous as ever. The loaded chips are massive.

Nice place for a business lunch. The steak was cooked exactly as requested, and the service was prompt and professional. Good location near the station. A bit pricey, but you get what you pay for.

Been coming here for years, and their cream tea never disappoints. The scones are always warm, and they're generous with the clotted cream and jam. It's the one thing I keep coming back for.

Steak pie was spot on, proper comfort food. Filled potatoes hit the mark too. Quick service, got my order in no time. Just what you need for a fast, filling lunch.

Dog-friendly, which is a plus. Plenty of seating inside and out. Stopped in for a quick bite, the portion size for the price was decent. Good for a coffee and a sandwich if you're on Mill Road.

A lovely, dog-friendly cafe. The cakes and buns looked fantastic. My hot chocolate was just a touch lukewarm when it arrived, but the coffee my friend had was really good and strong. A nice, relaxed spot.

I’m always on the lookout for places that do vegan and gluten-free right. Their buckwheat crepe was spot on—really tasty. The staff knew exactly what was in everything, which made ordering so much easier.

Coffee here is seriously good, but there's barely any seating. Went on a Saturday morning and it was packed – ended up getting mine to go. Maybe try off-peak if you want to sit down!

The fish and chips were spot on – the batter was so light and crispy, and the chips were fluffy inside. They even had proper cups for our drinks, which was a nice touch. A solid spot for a casual meal.

The rotating flavours are a nice touch. Had the special Eid date cake - it was a lovely, nostalgic sip that really fit the occasion. Paired it with a black coffee, and the combo just worked.

It was so cozy in here on a chilly evening. The warm lighting and relaxed vibe just made you want to stay a while. Perfect spot for a comforting meal.

Popped in for a toasted melt. Honestly, the best part was the staff being so lovely to our dog while we were outside. Gave him a little treat and everything. Made a simple lunch feel really nice.

The lamb shank was so tender it fell right off the bone! Shared it with a couple friends and we all loved it. The rice and salad were nice too. A solid spot for a casual dinner with mates.

Garlic dough balls were a good start. Pizzas were well-cooked, no complaints there. Decent spot for a straightforward meal.

The staff are so friendly, always with a smile. My salad arrived quickly, and the greens were crisp and fresh. It's nice to see such care with ingredients.

Mark's service was efficient and personable. He handled our table of six with ease, kept the drinks topped up, and had a good sense of timing. A solid, professional experience.

Came here with a group of friends on a Friday night. The place was buzzing, which was perfect for our vibe. We shared a few small plates and the truffle fries were a hit. Just be prepared for a bit of a wait if you come around 8pm.

Popped in for a quick dinner. Jeff was really nice, made us feel at home. The new curry goat was spot on, super tender with all the right spices. Salmon was good too. Solid meal.

The steak and ale pie is the reason I keep coming back. The pastry is perfectly flaky and the filling is rich and hearty, packed with tender beef. It's exactly what you want from a classic pub dish.

The seating area is so relaxing. Comfy chairs, soft lighting, the whole vibe is just right. I only popped in for a quick drink, but I could have stayed for hours. Staff were friendly too.

The pastel de nata here is really good, always fresh and crisp. It’s a decent treat, though a little on the pricey side. I stop by for one whenever I’m in the area.

The staff really knew their gins and rums, helped us pick something new. Perfect for a catch-up with friends.

The Pompei burger had a nice kick to it, and the cheese was spot on. Their house red was a surprisingly good match for it.

The bottomless drinks are a solid deal. The lemonade was sharp and not too sweet, refills came quick. Could see it working for a group.

Nice, traditional pub. The fish and chips were spot on - crispy batter, proper chips. A solid choice for a reliable meal.

Their gluten-free fried batter is something else. I've tried a few places, but this was the lightest and crispest I've had. The rest of the meal was good too, but that batter really stood out.

Jodie was a great server, very patient and checked on us just the right amount. Made the meal nice and relaxed.

The giant pizza here is a real standout. Got the one with nduja and honey, the spicy-sweet combo was just right. It's a counter-service spot, so don't expect a full waiter experience, but for the price and that massive pie? Can't complain.
