The bang bang cauliflower is so good, I'm still thinking about it. Perfectly crispy with that spicy-sweet sauce. Giancarlo was lovely, but honestly, the cauliflower stole the show.

The staff were so nice to our big group! They kept checking in without being annoying. The menu even marks how spicy each dish is - saved us from ordering something too hot for my friend. 😅

We've been a few times now, and it's always reliably good. The food is tasty and reasonably priced, which is why we keep returning. It's just a comfortable, easy spot for a meal.

Been coming here for years, and the fish curry never disappoints. It's always that perfect balance of spice and coconut, just like I remember from my last visit. The portion's still decent for this kind of place. That's why I keep coming back.

The homemade pickles and garlicky coleslaw are the real stars here. The pickles have a proper crunch and a sharp, vinegary bite. The coleslaw is creamy but not heavy, with a nice garlic kick. They make the sandwich so much better.

The gluten-free menu here is really extensive. They take care with everything, and my carbonara was spot on - honestly, one of the best I've had since my trip to Rome.

Emma and Roland were really attentive. They remembered how I liked my coffee and even offered a refill before I asked. That kind of service is nice.

Grabbed takeout and the staff were so friendly! The sag paneer was really tasty, and they gave us free poppadoms which was a nice bonus.

Decent spot for a casual meal. The space is clean and quite roomy, which is nice. Service was prompt. Prices are very reasonable, so it's good value overall. A solid choice for a straightforward dinner and a drink.

Ate here last night with a few mates. The food is all cooked and served by students, which is a cool concept. Service was really attentive, they checked on us just the right amount. Good for a relaxed catch-up.

The afternoon tea was lovely, especially the savory selection. The sandwiches were fresh, and I appreciated the variety of fillings. Could have done with fewer cheese ones, though. The sweet pastries were a bit of a letdown for me—just not as fresh-tasting. The staff were really welcoming and attentive, which made the afternoon pleasant.

The banquet night is such good value. So much food for the set price, and it all felt really fresh. Just a lovely, generous spread.

Really liked the different rooms and levels, made our catch-up feel more private. Buffet was solid, plenty of tea and coffee to keep us going.

Sharon and the team were super friendly, even when it got packed. They remembered my drink order from last time, which was a nice touch. Just felt looked after without it being over the top.

Came in with a friend who has serious allergies. Heidi and chef Becca took it really seriously, checked everything twice. Felt safe, could actually relax for once.

The portions here are huge, honestly. My plate was absolutely loaded, and the food arrived way quicker than I expected. It was a nice surprise.

The steak and ale pie was so fresh and perfectly cooked. The crust was just right. Friendly service that makes you feel right at home. A lovely, comforting meal.

Been coming here for years. The Sunday roast is always spot on, proper generous portions. It's busy but never gets too loud, which I like.

Sticky toffee date pudding was incredible. Warm, rich, and the sauce was just right. Honestly, one of the best desserts I've had in a long time. Stopped by after a walk and it totally hit the spot.

The screens for sports are everywhere, makes it easy to watch a game. Had a pint while catching the match, decent spot for that.

Grabbed a takeaway breakfast here. The scrambled eggs were so fluffy, and you could really taste the freshness of the ingredients. The avocado on the side was perfectly ripe. It was a nice, simple start to the day.

Lovely old building, really cosy downstairs. Had the steak frites. Honestly, for the price, the portion was a bit on the small side. Tasty, but left wanting a bit more.

Their Sunday roast is the real deal. The beef was cooked just right, still pink inside, and the roasties were crispy on the outside, fluffy in the middle. A proper cozy spot for a lazy weekend lunch.

The bar staff were lovely on my last visit. The lady serving was so helpful, really made the whole thing easy and relaxed. Just what you want when you're out for a quiet meal.

Came for the seabass after a friend mentioned it. Really nicely cooked, flaky and moist. The whole menu looks promising, but honestly, the lighting and those dark wood tables just made it a really comfortable spot to unwind.

Came for a casual Sunday lunch with friends. The mega star burger was a real highlight, so tasty! The vibe was just right for a relaxed catch-up.

The pulled pork burger was spot on, really tender and the bun held up well. Wings with Piri Piri had a nice kick, not too spicy. Decent portions for the price.

The interior is lovely, much more refined than your typical chain pub. The historic staircase and original fireplaces give it a proper, civilised feel. A nice spot for a quiet business lunch. The artwork collection is a good touch.

Been coming here for years. The Shepherd's Pie is solid, proper comfort food. Good portion for the price.
