A solid local pub, slightly off the beaten path. Ideal for a quiet pint. The beer selection is decent, and the bar staff are efficient. Good spot if you have a dog with you. Food is fine for what it is.

Popped in for a quick bite while shopping. The chicken and avocado sandwich was fresh, really hit the spot. Coffee was decent too. Just a bit cramped inside when it gets busy, but fine for a short stop.

Nice pub for a quick pint. Hawkstone lager from Diddly Squat is a solid choice. Food looks decent from what I saw, but haven't tried it. Good spot for a swift one after work.

Been coming here for years, and it's always reliable. What keeps me coming back is how fresh the ingredients taste. You can tell they use quality produce. The grilled salmon salad is my go-to – the greens are always crisp. A solid choice for a healthy, satisfying meal.

Came here with a few mates for a proper fish and chips fix. The curry sauce was spot on - really creamy and went perfectly with the crispy batter. Just what we needed for a chilled catch-up.

The grilled chicken is always juicy and full of flavour. I really like the selection of sauces they have. The chips are generous and well-prepared too. A solid, reliable spot.

Love the vegan mozzarella here. It's a nice touch that makes the plant-based options feel more complete.

Food came out fast, which was handy with the kids. The little play corner kept them busy, so we could actually enjoy our drinks.

Cottage pie and hunter's chicken were spot on. The mash on the pie was creamy, chicken was juicy. Exactly what you want from a pub meal.

I really appreciate how fresh the ingredients are here. The salad greens were crisp and the vegetables tasted like they were just picked. It's nice to know you're eating something wholesome. The space itself is very clean and cozy, which adds to the relaxed feel.

Lovely spot for a quiet evening. The staff were genuinely friendly and chatty, which made the whole visit feel relaxed and easy. I found a comfy corner seat and just enjoyed the music. A really nice, low-key place.

Good spot for a quiet drink. Near the hospital, so convenient. Clean and comfortable. Just what we needed.

Staff were really friendly, especially Cassie and Maria. They made us feel properly looked after without being over the top. Just the right level of attention.

The Sunday roast was spot on, and the staff were really helpful. Their wine list had a lovely Rioja that paired beautifully with the beef.

Good spot for a quick bite. The staff were friendly and efficient, no fuss. Appreciated the vegan banana and carrot cake option, solid choice. Dog-friendly policy is a plus for convenience.

The Red Lion offers a lovely atmosphere with great service, making it a perfect spot for lunch. The pub food is some of the best I've had in a while, and I highly recommend it!

Had the BBQ platter with friends. The beef was nicely marbled, prawns were fresh. Squid had a good chew without being rubbery. Place was packed, mostly with Korean families - always a reassuring sight.

Lovely spot for a warm afternoon. The outdoor seating is pleasant, and it's nice they're dog-friendly. The live music adds a decent vibe. Could do with a few more shaded tables, though.

Been coming here for years, and it’s the starters that keep me coming back. Always get a few to share—the portions are just right for trying different things without filling up. It’s become our little ritual.

Been here a few times. The chicken was a bit dry this time, which was a shame. Rest of the meal was good though. It's a solid Nando's, you know what you're getting.

Popped in for a midweek pint and a bite. The fish and chips were solid—crispy batter, proper chips. Service was friendly and quick, which is just what you want on a Tuesday. A reliable spot when you can't be bothered to cook.

The mixed grill was good, just what I fancied. They did warn me about the sweet potato fries being off the menu, which was fine. I really liked the booth seating by the window, felt quite cosy and private.

The restaurant has a 'buzz' and people looked happy. This is the second time I've been and the atmosphere has been great both times. There is nothing better than full tables to give you confidence you've chosen the right place to eat. The waiting staff were working very hard. They were all brilliant. They were polite, knowledgeable, very personable but also very professional. We were an eclectic bunch of friends and our tastes varied from fish and chips, through sea bass, vegetable curry to Aubergine Gratin. Everything was delicious, cooked to perfection and presented beautifully. We rounded the meal off with deserts - pavlova and fruit crumble - ten out of ten was one comment! All in all it was a brilliant occasion.

Popped in on a Friday afternoon for a solo pint. The vibe was just right for a quiet wind-down, really relaxed. Drinks menu had some interesting local ales I hadn't seen before. A solid local spot.
