The scones were a real highlight. Warm, crumbly, and they give you a generous amount of clotted cream and jam. Just perfect with a pot of tea.

The lunch menu's Pad Thai was spot on - fresh ingredients and they swapped out the shrimp for me. Solid find.

The hot chocolate was rich and the chai latte had a lovely spice. The real highlight was the service, though - our waiter had some great suggestions for a dessert wine to go with the pastries. Made for a very relaxed afternoon.

Desire's service at The Boot was top-notch! He brought humor and professionalism to our dining experience, making it truly enjoyable.

The roast dinner was spot on. The trio of meats were cooked just right, and the roast potatoes had that perfect crisp. Found a nice Malbec on the list that went really well with the beef. Staff were friendly, though service was a touch slow.

The sourdough is the main reason I keep coming back. Their chicken and mushroom pie is pretty good too.

The staff were very patient with our large group and separate checks. The salmon and eggs on toast was pretty good.

Lovely spot for lunch outside when the sun's out. The patio is really pleasant, and they're fine with dogs. Food was decent, though the service was a bit slow.

Service was prompt and efficient. Imogen was attentive without being intrusive. She handled a busy Friday night well, got our orders right, and the pacing was good. Solid experience.

The owner is so lovely! Made me and my friends feel right at home. We were just catching up over some really tasty food (the pasta was spot on), and the warm welcome just added to the vibe. Perfect for a casual hangout.

The mixed grill platter is the thing here. The lamb chops were juicy and had a good char, and the adana kebab was properly spiced. Everything on that plate tasted like it came straight off the grill. The chicken shish was a bit dry though.

The Fratelli Special pizza was the main reason for my visit. It's a solid choice, the crust had a good texture. The place itself is relaxed, good for a business lunch. Service was efficient, got the bill quickly. A bit on the pricier side for what it is.

Been coming here for years. The team always remembers you, makes you feel right at home. It’s that kind of service that keeps me coming back.

Been coming here for years. The pub dinners are always generous, never feel like you're getting short-changed. That's what keeps me coming back.

The takeaway was surprisingly good, tasted like a proper restaurant dish. Great for those nights you just can't be bothered to cook.

Found this place on a visit to St Ives. Sat outside by the water. The squid starter was lovely - the texture was spot on, really tender. It felt fresh and light, which I always appreciate. A nice, simple dish done well.

Service was fine, the staff were friendly. The kids' playground is a nice touch, and the view over the golf course is pleasant. The set menu for two was decent value.

A lovely Sunday lunch. The wine list had some interesting local options that paired well with the roast. Staff were very friendly, and they even gave my daughter a student discount.

Lewis was really nice about us showing up a bit late. He didn't make a fuss at all, just got us seated and sorted. Felt like we were expected, not an inconvenience. That kind of welcome goes a long way.

Nice spot for a lazy afternoon. Big windows let in loads of light, feels relaxed but still a bit smart. Had a pot of tea and a scone here, just what I needed.

Been coming here for years. The coffee's always spot on, and that chocolate croissant is the reason I keep coming back. It's just a solid, reliable spot for my morning routine.

The landlord and bar manager are brilliant, really welcoming. The beers are top-notch and it's a very popular spot on a Sunday evening.

A proper British pub experience. The history here is genuine, you can feel it in the atmosphere.

We've been a few times now, and it's always reliably good. The food is tasty and reasonably priced, which is why we keep returning. It's just a comfortable, easy spot for a meal.

The homemade pickles and garlicky coleslaw are the real stars here. The pickles have a proper crunch and a sharp, vinegary bite. The coleslaw is creamy but not heavy, with a nice garlic kick. They make the sandwich so much better.

The gluten-free menu here is really extensive. They take care with everything, and my carbonara was spot on - honestly, one of the best I've had since my trip to Rome.

Ate here last night with a few mates. The food is all cooked and served by students, which is a cool concept. Service was really attentive, they checked on us just the right amount. Good for a relaxed catch-up.

The afternoon tea was lovely, especially the savory selection. The sandwiches were fresh, and I appreciated the variety of fillings. Could have done with fewer cheese ones, though. The sweet pastries were a bit of a letdown for me—just not as fresh-tasting. The staff were really welcoming and attentive, which made the afternoon pleasant.

Sharon and the team were super friendly, even when it got packed. They remembered my drink order from last time, which was a nice touch. Just felt looked after without it being over the top.

Came in with a friend who has serious allergies. Heidi and chef Becca took it really seriously, checked everything twice. Felt safe, could actually relax for once.
