The 6-course wagyu menu was surprisingly filling, and the sake pairings really stood out. Just wish the beef was grilled instead of shabu-shabu.

Red curry with prawns was properly juicy, not dry at all. Flavor hit hard but good. Staff were quick, no waiting around. Just watch out, the spice level sneaks up on you 🌶️. I was sweating halfway through but kept eating anyway. Solid spot if you're into that kind of heat.

Came here on a busy Friday night. Sushi was decent, but honestly the hotpot is where it's at. All-you-can-eat menu is huge, and since the portions are small you can actually try a bunch of stuff. Service was friendly enough, though we had to wait a bit for refills. Fine for the price, I'd go back if I'm in the mood for hotpot.

The nasi rames portion was pretty generous for the price. Solid spot for a quick bite in Groningen.

Cozy spot, friendly staff. The food was fresh, but honestly the wine list stole the show—nice pairing options without breaking the bank.

Zeegster burger was solid. Really juicy, good bun. Staff were quick, friendly enough. Satay came out a bit dry though, overcooked. Also noticed a few hygiene things that kinda put me off. Not sure if I'd rush back, but the burger itself did the job.

The kibbeling was crispy and the portion felt generous for the price. Interior is nothing fancy, but clean enough. Plenty of seating inside and out. Solid spot if you just want decent fish without the tourist markup.

Came for dinner last week, burger was properly juicy, not overcooked. The roasted cauliflower surprised me, good char on it. Beer garden looks nice, though it got a bit crowded later. Service was fast enough, no complaints there. Solid spot if you're in the area and want something simple done right.

Cozy little place, staff was friendly and the food came out hot and fast. Portions are solid for the price. They had a decent wine by the glass too, which paired nicely with my meal.

That fish sandwich was so fresh and hot, totally unlike the usual processed stuff. Made me want to try their dinner menu.

The shashlik here was properly done—charred outside, still juicy inside. Portion size was solid, left me full without feeling stuffed. Prices are fair for what you get. Place itself is nothing special, but I didn't come for the decor. Just the meat. And the meat delivered.

We came with two kids and honestly, the staff handled everything really well. Ordered the homemade fish fingers for them—proper food, not the usual frozen stuff. Portion was decent for the price too. Only thing, it got a bit busy around 7, but that's on us for the timing. Fine spot for a family meal without breaking the bank.

The curry was good, though I wished it had more heat. Fresh ingredients for sure. Staff were really friendly too.

Very nice and small location with a good atmosphere.

The fish platter was solid, potatoes cooked just right. Service friendly and quick, no complaints there. Place gets busy though, so you might wait if you don't book ahead. I'd come back for the fish, that's the main draw for me.

Creative plates, way beyond the usual island stuff. The slate board menu is a nice touch. Enjoyed a solid red with the fish—good pairing. Cozy spot, though a bit tight.

Came here twice while we were in town and honestly could’ve gone a third time. The fish dishes were the highlight for me—especially the grilled one, super fresh and simple. Wine list matched the meal nicely too. Prices felt fair for what you get, not cheap but not crazy. Just wish they had a bit more dessert options.

Been coming here for a while now, and the mustard soup keeps me coming back. Had it again last week, still as good as the first time. Location is hard to beat, especially when the weather's nice. Building's got that old charm, staff always friendly. Not the cheapest spot, but you know what you're getting.

The burgers looked great when they arrived, fries were properly salted too. Sat near the window, chairs were actually comfortable enough to stay a while. Service was friendly without hovering. Just wish the place wasn't quite so loud, had to raise my voice a bit across the table. Still, decent spot for a casual bite.

Stopped by for dinner and ended up having a nice glass of local red with the schnitzel. That place has this proper 70s vibe, like nothing changed in decades. Food was fresh, not fancy, but really decent. Owner came by for a chat, which felt genuine. Just wish they had one more option for wine by the glass.

The spicy burger really does have some kick to it, which I appreciated. Nice vibe and good music, though it does get pretty loud when it's packed. That's typical for a pub, so no real complaint there. Just be prepared for the noise if you go at a busy time. I'd come back for the food.

We showed up without a booking, dogs in tow, and they couldn’t have been nicer about it. The pork tenderloin with Gorgonzola sauce was the highlight—properly cooked, creamy without being heavy. Schnitzel though? Tasted like it came frozen. Bit of a letdown after that starter. Still, I’d go back for that pork alone.

We were with a group of 10 for dinner. Service was efficient and friendly, plates looked great and tasted even better. Nice to see local Hoogkerk Brewery beers on the menu. Decent spot.
