Just a heads up, it's mostly takeout here. They don't have chopsticks or wipes, so bring your own!

A bit of a walk from the center, but worth it. The nodoguro here is the real deal. Tried it raw, so smooth and sweet. Grilled looked good too. Solid price for that quality.

The private room was a real plus. We could relax and talk without feeling rushed or overheard. The food was intricate and tasted great, though the pacing between courses felt a little slow. Still, a nice spot for a quiet dinner.

Stopped by for a quick dessert. The chestnut kinton was really good — smooth and moist, with just the right amount of sweetness. You can really taste the chestnuts.

The staff were very helpful. They even found someone to explain the dessert menu in English, which made choosing a wine to pair much easier.

Tried the weekday mini-kaiseki lunch. The seafood rice bowl was really colorful, and I liked the vinegared rice option they offered. Good portion for the price.

The charcoal grill is key. It dries out the extra moisture so you get the pure taste of the meat. That's the main thing here.

Just stopped by for a quiet afternoon. The Ippuku-ume set was nice, matcha was good and the wagashi wasn't too sweet, which I prefer. The place has a calm, modern feel. Picked up a couple of their cute stickers on the way out.

The Khao Soi was lovely, with the mix of crispy and soft noodles. The booths were very comfortable, which made for a relaxed meal.

The lunch set is a solid deal. I went for the chirashi bowl — the fish was fresh, and they didn't skimp on the variety. It came with all those little side dishes too, so I left feeling pretty satisfied. A good, straightforward meal.

The dandan noodles have a nice sesame flavor. The soup is thick and the noodles are thin and chewy.

Been coming here for years. The chilled chestnut mochi they serve in autumn is the reason. That smooth, pure chestnut broth is exactly what I look forward to every season. Always hits the spot.

Been coming here for years, and that spaghetti never changes. Still comes out sizzling on the hot plate, with that same sweet ketchup sauce. It's the consistency I keep coming back for.
