Beef with pepper sauce was solid. Tender, sauce had a bit of kick. Garden out back is decent, kids liked the swing. Service quick enough. Fine for a stop if you're in the area.

Stopped by for a quick lunch. Tenderloin was cooked right, juicy and full of flavor. Onion rings and broccoli au gratin on the side were solid. Place gets busy though, so you might wait a bit for a table. Fine if you're not in a huge rush.

Came for coffee, stayed for the food. The beef tartare was the standout — clean, sharp seasoning, proper texture. No fuss, just done right. Portion could be bigger for the price, but honestly the flavor made up for it. If you're after something simple and well-executed, this is it.

Food was solid, outdoor seating nice. Handy spot near the main square. Service fine, just busy.

Solid ribs for around 20 euros. Place has a nice local vibe, felt like a regular right away. A bit pricey but decent for a quick bite.

Decent little Irish pub tucked in the back courtyard. Small and a bit loud, but that's part of the charm. Stopped by for a pint and it felt properly authentic. Not fancy, but it doesn't need to be. Good spot if you're after something low-key.

Dropped by for dinner and honestly the food was really good. Plating looked nice too, though you pay a bit more for it. Not a place I'd hit every week, but fine for a treat. Service was chill, didn't rush us.

Came for lunch on a weekday, place wasn't too busy. The schnitzel was solid, crispy and not greasy. Portion size felt right for the price. Only thing is the seating near the window is a bit cramped, not much legroom. But the room itself has a nice old-town vibe, high ceilings. Would sit at the bar next time.

The lunch special is where it’s at. Curries came out fragrant, proper spice level, not that watered-down stuff. Portion was solid for the price. Dinner menu though? Feels overpriced for what you actually get. Stick to the midday deal and you’re fine.

Popped in for a quick breakfast with a friend and grabbed a few pastries to go. The apricot donuts were still warm, honestly the best part. Prices are a bit higher than your average bakery, but the quality makes up for it. Place was busy, so we just took ours outside. Would come back for the nut pastry alone. 🙂

Stopped by for dinner and honestly the wine list caught me off guard—really well picked. Had a homemade dish that felt like someone’s actual recipe, not just reheated stuff. You can tell the owner pays attention to what goes out. Place was quiet when I went, which made it even better.

The pork roast with bread dumpling was spot on, really tender. Cheese spätzle went down well with the whole table. Cellar gets a bit loud once it fills up, but that kind of adds to the vibe. Solid spot for proper Austrian food, nothing fancy but it does the job.

The gondola ride up is quick and you land in this shaded terrace with the Danube way below. Food was decent, nothing crazy. Portions felt a bit small for what you pay, honestly. But the chestnut trees made it bearable on a hot day, so I didn't mind sitting there longer than planned.

The seafood pizza was decent—lots of shrimp and mussels, not skimpy at all. Paid €14 for a medium size, which felt fair for what you got. Place was clean, quiet enough for a weekday lunch. They gave the kid some crayons to draw, nice little touch. Wouldn't say it's a must-visit, but I'd come back if I'm in the area.

The pork schnitzel was solid, crispy outside, tender inside. Prices felt a bit steep for the portion though.

The vegan options at a traditional Gasthaus were a nice surprise. My mushroom dish had real flavor, not just the usual boring veggie plate. Staff was patient when I asked questions about the menu.

We stopped by for lunch after a walk along the Danube. The setting is really pretty, no arguing that. I had the schnitzel and it was cooked properly, nice and crispy. Service was attentive without hovering. Only tiny thing, we waited a bit for the bill. But overall a solid spot if you're in the area and want something fresh.

Solid meal, no complaints about the food—plating and flavors were on point. Service was a bit slow for a Michelin-starred spot, but the dishes carried it. Would come back if I'm in the area.

The staff here were genuinely friendly—made me feel like a regular even on my first visit. Food was solid, nothing mind-blowing but comforting. Would pop back in if I'm in the area again.

The ribeye was genuinely good—cooked exactly how I asked. But honestly, the space itself stood out more. Stylish without trying too hard, modern but not cold. Seats were comfortable enough to linger a bit. Cocktail list is solid too. Only thing is it got a little loud later in the evening, but that’s probably on me for staying that long.

The garden seating is the reason to come here—tucked back from the street, you almost forget you're in the middle of the city. I had the green curry and it was properly spicy, the kind that makes you slow down and actually taste it. Seafood salad was fresh too. Just wish they'd brought the drinks out a bit sooner.

Service was friendly and attentive, exactly what I needed after a long day. Our server checked in just the right amount. Felt well looked after without being hovered over.

Nice little place. The seasonal cake was fresh and the coffee done right. Terrace is a bonus when the weather cooperates.

Solid hotpot spot. Broth was flavorful, ingredients tasted fresh. Staff came by to top up the broth without us asking. Place fills up fast, so booking a table is the smart move. We walked in and had to wait about 20 minutes. Fine for a quick bite, just don't come starving.

Came for the kardinalschnitte and honestly the view alone is worth it. Coffee was solid, cake was light and not too sweet. Prices fair for the spot. Bit crowded when we went but we still found a table by the window. Would pop in again if I'm in the area. ☕

Stopped by for a quick lunch. Got the gluten-free option and they actually knew what they were doing. Staff answered questions without hesitation. Food came out fast, which I appreciated. Price was fair for what you get. Place had a decent vibe too. Solid spot if you're in the area and short on time.

The shiro miso soup was the real deal—tasted like something I had in a tiny spot in Kyoto. Simple but deep flavor. Portion was decent for the price too. I’d come back just for that bowl, honestly. The rest of the meal was fine, but that soup carried it.

Tuna was easily the best I've had in a while. Grilled calamari was solid too. Not cheap, but the quality justifies it.

Stopped by for lunch on a workday. Daily special was under €10, went with the goulash—solid choice for cold weather. Service was quick, no fuss. Place was busy but I got a seat right away. Fine if you need something decent and fast without overthinking it.
