Stumbled upon this spot. The wine list had some interesting local options that paired nicely with the main.

Staff were really helpful when I asked about a couple of dishes. Spent a good few minutes checking with the kitchen for me, which was nice. Made ordering a lot easier.

I had a lovely meal with generous portions and a friendly atmosphere. The staff were attentive, making the experience enjoyable.

I enjoyed a wonderful afternoon at the Quart Pot for a family gathering. The food was amazing, especially the prawn and calamari duo, and the service was spot on with just the right timing between courses.

Food was great, the pies were incredible and Caius (our server) was very attentive throughout.We were made to feel very welcome and will definitely come back again.

Popped in for a quiet drink midweek. They had a decent live jazz trio playing, which was a nice surprise. The house red was perfectly drinkable, nothing fancy, but it suited the relaxed vibe. Snooker tables looked well-kept, though I didn&#39;t have a go.

A gem hidden in plain sight!  The cosy atmosphere and gentle buzz as the lunctime service grew. Clearly there were many regular customers making for a friendly atmosphere. We ordered Cozze marinara and and a prawn and avocado salad. Both genreous and excellent. Our pasta mains were cooked to perfection (again, generous proportions. Staff were atentive and we did not feel rushed. Very good house rose Pino Grigio. Heartally recommend this well-established and authentic restaurant.

Been going here for years, it&#39;s a proper local. Staff know your name, and the prices haven&#39;t gone mad like other places. Live music on Fridays is a nice touch, keeps the place lively.

The restaurant is hard to book. I have to come back during lunch time to try out the restaurant. I have orders seafood spaghetti and lobster ravioli. The lobster ravioli is made using fresh pasta and is very tasty. The waiters are enthusiastic, highly recommend to visit and visiting Westcliff.

The grilled salmon had a really nice crispy skin, and the dill sauce was lovely. The veggies were cooked just right too. The whole place just feels so calm and airy, with all the natural light and plants.

The chicken dansak was the star for me - the sauce had this incredible depth of flavour, not too sweet, just right. The staff were lovely and checked in without being overbearing. A really nice spot for a casual dinner.

Good spot for a quick bite in the park. Pizza was hot and ready fast, exactly what you need between rides. Plenty of topping choices too. Friendly staff kept the line moving.

The seafood paella was lovely, and the ingredients tasted really fresh. Perfect for a sunny terrace lunch.

The chicken curry was a bit too fiery for my taste. Mentioned it to the server, and they swapped it out for a milder version, no questions asked. Quick and easy fix.

A solid family-run chippy. Fish is fresh, chips are excellent. Good value for the area. The upstairs seating is a real plus - spacious and quiet, a proper place to sit down. Makes a difference compared to other takeaway spots.

It was my Grandson&#39;s First Birthday - we had been eating sausage Rolls and sandwiches all day but by the evening needed a proper meal !! We read reviews and it sounded good so we gave it a try. We are not local so it was our first time. We have been to various carveries before but I have to say your food was the best I had eaten at this type of Restaurant. All the meat was tender and moist and the roast potatoes in beef fat were the best ever. In fact all the vegetables were lovely. we agreed that on our next visit to Southend we would take my daughter, her husband and our Grandson for a treat. The atmosphere was cosy and the staff were all friendly and helpful.In particular our waitress Mandy was really friendly and funny. It really made a difference to our visit. we will recommend and be back next time we are in the area.
