David was so patient with us, even when it got really busy. He kept checking in, made sure we had everything. Just a nice guy who clearly cares.

The new owners did a lovely job with the woodwork inside. It’s cozy and feels warm, like a proper local spot now. Just a nice place to be.

I had a lovely time at the Alex with friends. The atmosphere was vibrant, and the staff, particularly Cora, were incredibly friendly and attentive, making our visit memorable.

Really enjoyed the tapas selection here. Ordered a bunch of things and they all came out together, which was great. The staff were lovely and friendly too.

The biscoff cheesecake was a real treat. The music was a bit loud, but the atmosphere was pretty good.

Solid local pub. They've got a really nice selection of drinks, which I appreciate. Found a surprisingly good local red that went perfectly with the steak and ale pie. The vibe is spot on for a relaxed evening.

I have been here with parents, children, the kids chums, my mates and a lady or five. This was for my 60th with the eldest, her Man and a lady chum of mine. The waiting staff were effective and courteous the foid was good and got to have a Dad chat this is the first time since my last parent passed a way so a comfortable and warm place. The walk in Dedham was very chilly a lunch to remember.

Friendly service given by happy smiling efficient attentive waitress. Food was plentiful and hot, collected at carvery and puddings delivered speedily later on. Overall very pleasant experience for our Christmas treat. Recommended.

Lovely afternoon spot. The food was a pleasant surprise, honestly. Our server Archie had a stellar attitude, really made the visit. The space itself is bright and airy, with big windows that let in all the light. Just a nice, relaxed vibe for a casual meal.

The bar staff were lovely on my last visit. The lady serving was so helpful, really made the whole thing easy and relaxed. Just what you want when you're out for a quiet meal.

A very friendly staff, along with nice food which made for a pleasing over all experience I can honestly recommend this venue.

The atmosphere at the George and Dragon is wonderful, with superb food cooked to perfection. The staff were amazing, making our visit truly enjoyable.

A nice spot close to the station. The old railway theme inside is pretty cool, and the outdoor seating is pleasant on a good day. The food was decent, though my main course was a little lukewarm when it arrived.

Cozy little place. Had a couple of their craft beers, solid choices. Spotted a table in the back for board games, which is a nice touch. Just a chill spot for a casual pint.

This place has a buzzing atmosphere, and the burgers are amazing! The staff were polite and attentive, making our visit enjoyable. I highly recommend checking it out if you're in the area.

Been coming here for years, and the live music nights are what keep me coming back. Always a good vibe, feels like a proper local. The prosecco's spot on too.

The tropical mojito was the standout. Bartender's suggestion. Really fresh mint, not too sweet, and the rum came through nicely. Just the right balance. That's what I came for.

Solid food, seasonal menu with local ingredients. Reliable for lunch or dinner. The wine list is decent, found a nice Pinot Noir that worked well with the roasted chicken. Service was a bit slow, but fine for a relaxed evening.

The Robin Hood is a charming pub with a cozy atmosphere. The staff, especially Zac, were incredibly attentive and made our dining experience enjoyable. The food was delicious, and I can't wait to return!

A decent spot for a Sunday roast. The pub is clean and cosy, especially by the fireplace. The roast beef was pretty good, though the Yorkshire pudding was a touch dry. Fine for a family meal.

Solid spot for tapas. The patatas bravas were spot on, and the jamón had that perfect texture. Reminded me of a place I used to go to in Barcelona. Service was efficient, got our order right away. A bit tight on space between tables, but that's minor. Good for a straightforward meal.

Had a wake here. The staff were really considerate, gave us a quiet room to ourselves. The buffet was surprisingly varied, plenty of options and good portions. They made a difficult day a bit easier.

Popped in for a bite after the shops. That triple stack burger was spot on - juicy, good bacon, proper chips on the side. Staff were friendly, no rush. Decent spot for a straightforward lunch.

Been here a few times now. The food is solid, and the vibe is always lively. What I really appreciate is their wine list – they’ve got some interesting, affordable bottles that actually pair well with the heartier dishes. Makes for a relaxed evening out.

Reece was a great server, really attentive without being overbearing. Sarah the manager also popped by, which was a nice touch. The food was solid, but I wish the wine list had a few more interesting options by the glass.
