Such a cosy little freehouse. The staff are lovely, and the draft beer is spot on. The food? Honestly, a solid 10/10. That's rare for me.

Fresh fish and chips, decent portion for the price. Good for a quick bite in the old town.

Lovely old pub, very cosy inside. The staff were so friendly and attentive, which made the whole evening really relaxed. I had the fish and chips, it was good. A nice, comfortable spot for a quiet meal.

Staff were really friendly even when it was packed. My server was patient while I decided, and the whole vibe was just nice.

The sandwich wasn't quite right, but honestly, the staff were lovely about it. So apologetic, and they even brought us some ice cream on the house. Made our little catch-up feel really taken care of.

Love that they have a separate conservatory for dogs. My pup and I enjoyed the view together.

The decor is really nice, modern but still feels cosy. Sat by the window and it was a lovely spot to watch the world go by. Food was good, service was quick. Prices are fair for the location on the edge of the town shops.

The crab baguette was incredibly fresh, packed with generous, high-quality crab meat. A lovely, simple lunch. The cake was nice, but the baguette was the star.

Lovely stay. The room was cosy and well presented, with nice local toiletries. Food is cooked fresh to order, which was great. Staff were welcoming and the dog-friendly policy is a big plus. Just a note that the breakfast service can get a little slow when they're busy.

The cod bites are decent for sharing, and the house lager was a surprisingly good match. Quick, easy meal.

Been coming here for years, and the Moroccan shakshuka is the reason. It's always spot on—the eggs just right, the sauce rich and smoky. That consistency keeps me coming back. A proper cozy spot to enjoy it with the coast view.

Had the sea bass and tiramisu in the conservatory. The glass ceiling and all the plants made it feel really airy and light, even though we were indoors. A nice spot for a relaxed meal.

Beef curry was spot on, really tender. Chips were a huge portion, couldn't finish them. Perfect for a quick, filling lunch. Got my food in about 5 minutes.

We're regulars and the food is always spot on. The staff know our usual wine order, which is a nice touch.

The steak and kidney pasty was solid. Big chunks of meat, felt like a proper homemade one. Just what I needed on a damp afternoon.

A proper cosy pub, this. The owner's a friendly chap - he was happy for us to bring in pasties from the bakery down the road. Sat outside with a pint and a pasty, just what you need.

The Mother's Day carvery was a nice touch, and the free Prosecco was appreciated. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Lovely old pub, proper Devon feel. Had the Sunday roast, beef was spot on. The real star was their house red, a surprisingly good match with the rich gravy. Staff are genuinely friendly, makes you feel like a local. A bit of a wait for the food, but worth it for that kind of atmosphere.

Bright and clean, loved the vibe. Saw a few young families with these gorgeous-looking plates of food, made me smile. The menu's solid, good value too. Staff were really on it and friendly.

The staff were lovely, and the place was spotless. I really appreciated how fresh the salad ingredients tasted - the greens were crisp and the tomatoes had real flavour. It's a simple spot, but they clearly care about what goes on the plate.

Been coming here for the Sunday roast for ages. It's always solid. Just book ahead, saw a big queue get turned away today.

The chef really knows his stuff for gluten-free. Took the time to walk me through the whole menu, even knew where they source the ingredients. Most dishes can be made GF. Food was spot on, and the garden's a nice spot on a sunny day.

Been here a few times for a quick business lunch. The food is reliable and they have a solid choice of local beers and wines by the glass. Service is efficient. Prices are fair for the area.

The relaxed vibe here is perfect for a glass of wine. You can really taste the care in the locally sourced ingredients.
