Risotto ai porcini was solid, piccata Milanese cooked right. Owner threw in a couple of appetizers on the house. Fair price for what you get.

The breakfast buffet had plenty of options and the staff kept everything topped up nicely. Felt well looked after without being hovered over. A solid start to the day.

Been coming here for years, and the pizza never disappoints. The dough has that perfect chew and crisp edge. Toppings are always generous and taste super fresh. My go-to spot.

The cordon bleu was properly crispy and juicy, exactly what I wanted. The vaulted cellar made it feel a bit special, though the seats were a little hard.

The truffle pasta was the highlight—creamy but not heavy, and they didn’t skimp on the shavings. Service was attentive without hovering. Only downside: the bill added up quicker than expected. Still, for that one dish alone, I’d probably come back.

Stopped by for dinner — place has a warm, classic vibe. Food’s got a proper Spanish touch, wine list is decent. Got a couple of small comps from the kitchen, nice touch. Solid choice if you’re nearby.

The schnitzel and fries were solid, and portions are generous for the price. Free shot at the end was a nice touch too.

The Maultaschen here are legit, really solid German comfort food. Fried potatoes on the side were spot on too. Good spot to catch up with friends over a proper meal.

Came here on a random weekday and honestly the portions caught me off guard. Got the schnitzel and it was huge, price felt fair for what you get. Service was attentive but not hovering, which I appreciated. Only thing is it got a bit busy later, but that's probably a good sign.

The schnitzel was really good—juicy, crispy, exactly what I needed. Salad had a nice light dressing too. Fries were a bit soft for my taste, but honestly didn’t bother me much.

The Baden-style stew was really hearty, lots of flavor in there. They even brought a little amuse-bouche first, which I didn't expect. Portion was big, honestly almost too much for me. Price seemed fair for what you get. I'd say it's a solid spot if you're hungry and want something comforting.

Stopped by for dinner and honestly the owner’s wine suggestion paired perfectly with my pasta. Nice to see someone who actually knows their list. They even brought out a cheese plate for the kid without us asking. Place was a bit loud but cozy. Would come back for the house red alone.

The schnitzel with fries is still my go-to here. Fish was more like small nuggets, but everything's fried and tasty. Good spot to sit down and eat.

The duck was properly tender, and the beer tasters went well with the daily menu. Staff friendly enough, though service lagged a bit mid-meal. Solid spot overall.

The beef liver with fried potatoes really hit the spot. Liver was cooked just right, not dry at all. Käsespätzle was solid too, though I wish there was a bit more cheese on top. Service was quick, which I appreciated. Good spot if you're in Schönwald and want something hearty.

Small spot, gets warm and cramped when it's full. Front rows are all decent though, so no bad seats. Just don't expect much elbow room.

Stopped by without a reservation, left impressed. Chestnut soup and venison were spot on. Staff even made off-menu schnitzel for the kids. Solid spot.

Lovely little place, a bit tucked away. Had the regional dishes and really liked how fresh everything tasted. Service was professional without being too stiff. Only wish the portions were a bit bigger.

The tiramisu here is seriously good—light, creamy, not too sweet. I came for a drink and ended up staying for dessert. Service was quick and friendly, which I appreciated. Prices felt fair for the area, especially for the quality. Wouldn’t mind going back just for that dessert again.

Came here for lunch, the dumplings with salad were pretty good. Reminded me a bit of Kaspressknödel from back home. Location is nice, easy to find. Service was quick, no complaints there. Just wish the portions were a bit bigger for the price, but overall a decent stop.

Solid mix of German classics and burgers. Had the schnitzel, pretty decent. Beer list is long, took me a while to pick one. Good spot if you want food and a drink.

The restaurant offers excellent service and outstanding cuisine, making for a perfect evening experience. The staff, especially Francois, were incredibly welcoming.

Loved the vibe here — the downstairs bar is super cozy and perfect for catching up with friends. Staff were friendly too. Would come back for a relaxed night out.

Stopped by for the lunch buffet and honestly it hit the spot. Fresh bread, decent selection, the lamb was tender. Staff let me sit and finish my coffee after they started cleaning up. Place is nothing fancy but it does the job. Would come back if I'm in the area again.

Stopped by for a steak, went with the beef fillet. Meat quality is genuinely good, you can tell they don’t mess around with cheap cuts. Cooked properly, nice sear on it. Service was friendly too, nothing over the top, just solid. Place was busy but not chaotic. Would come back if I’m in the area again.
