The steak came out exactly medium-rare, juicy and tender. Salad bar was fresh but only a few dressing choices. Got pretty loud during dinner rush, but the food made up for it.

Stopped by for a quick lunch. Fresh fish and good meat, chef serves the wine himself. Jürgen took care of everything, no waiting around. Solid spot if you need a proper meal fast. Prices are fair for what you get.

We’ve been coming here for years, and the three-course menu is still the reason. Portions are proper, not tiny plates. Food’s fresh, tastes like real cooking. Place is small and a bit cramped, but that’s part of the charm. Service was fine, nothing fancy. For the price, you can’t complain. Just wish they’d change the menu a bit more often.

Been coming here for a while now. The chef still comes out to check on tables, that's something I always notice. Food's been consistent every single time, which is honestly why I keep going back. Not the cheapest place, but you get what you pay for. Solid spot if you're in the area.

Stopped by for the mixed grill platter for two. Meat was cooked properly, decent portions, and the Croatian seasoning gave it a solid kick. Place was busy but service kept up fine. Nothing fancy, but it did the job for a hearty dinner. Would eat here again if I'm in the area.

Cozy spot with a nice bar up front. Service was quick and friendly, food came out fast too. Solid place for a relaxed evening out.

Came for the pizza, stayed for the zabaglione. Tableside prep was a nice touch. Pizza itself was solid, crust had good char. Place got pretty loud by the end though. Fine for a casual dinner, just don't expect a quiet night.

Been coming here for a while now, and the breakfast buffet never disappoints. Plenty of options, and they keep it stocked even when it gets busy. Staff's quick with the coffee refills too. Solid spot if you're staying at the hotel and want a relaxed morning without hunting for a table elsewhere.

Stopped by for a quick lunch. Food was solid, and the owner knew his wine — gave me something that paired really well. Prices are a bit high for the area, but you can taste where the money goes. Good spot if you're in Frechen and want something decent without overthinking it.

Dessert was the highlight for sure, really well done. Service was friendly and quick. Cozy spot, though it did get a bit loud later in the evening.

Tuna add-on for €4 was a solid choice—fresh and nicely portioned. Lounge vibe fits the neighborhood well. Just remember they're cash only, caught me off guard.

Pizza was solid, pasta too. Staff didn't mind my broken German, pretty friendly about it. Place feels properly family-run, not touristy.

Great burger spot in Cologne - the patty was thick and cooked exactly as I asked. Real cheddar too, not that plasticky stuff. Only thing is it's pretty small inside, but we managed fine with our group. 🍔

Came for the 90s decor, stayed for the chicken shawarma. That was proper tasty, not dry at all. Place has that nostalgic vibe, kinda fun. It's self-service, so you grab and go. Fine for a quick bite, nothing fancy. I'd pop in again if I'm nearby.

The cocktail bar is the standout—that Chocolate Orange Espresso Martini was genuinely good. Restaurant side feels a bit hit or miss, but the bar staff know what they're doing.

Nice terrace, perfect for a sunny afternoon. Good beer selection, nothing crazy but solid. Staff was friendly, even when it got busy. We just grabbed a few drinks and watched the game, no food this time. Place has a relaxed vibe, easy to hang out at. Would come back if I'm in the area again.

The food was good, decent portions too. But honestly, the prices felt a bit steep for what you get here in Germany. Guess you pay for the central spot. Fine for a one-off, but I wouldn't make it a regular thing.

Loved the restaurant - both food and service was perfect! We had a 4 course Valentine’s Day set menu which was outstanding. Will definitely be back :)

We were welcomed warmly, and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Service was lovely. Though there had been plenty of seating times to choose from, the restaurant was packed when we left. I got the sense that many were regulars. Definitely recommend!

very nice service, multili gual staff. We were served by Camilo who made sure we got the order with all the customizations that we asked.

Been coming here for years, always stop by when I'm in Cologne. The dining room still feels as grand as the first time. Had the tasting menu again, presentation was spot on. Service stays consistent, never too fussy. Pricey, sure, but you know what you're getting. It's a solid choice if you want a proper evening out.

The mains were really well done — my schnitzel was crispy and juicy. Staff checked in just the right amount, not hovering. Cozy inside, though the lighting felt a bit dim for my taste. Solid spot if you want a relaxed dinner without fuss. Prices fair for what you get.

I was dining with my teenage daughter. All other tables were adult only but we were made to feel very welcome and both my daughter and I enjoyed the food immensely. Paired wines enhanced the experience further still.
