Big menu, lots of veggie options which I liked. Buddha bowl was fresh and pretty filling for the price. Pancakes came fast too. Solid spot for a casual brunch.

The lighting in there is something else—soft, warm, made the whole place feel calmer than I expected. Food was solid, well-prepared, nothing to complain about. Prices are a bit steep, but you’re paying for the atmosphere as much as the plate. Staff left us alone until we needed them, which I appreciated.

Came here for the first time and honestly the food hit the spot. We had the grilled octopus and it was nicely charred, really tender. Prices felt fair for what you get. Only thing—our drinks took forever to come and the bread order got mixed up. Upstairs area looks a bit tired, but I’d still go back for the food.

The venison was really tender and the portion size was generous. Service was friendly but not hovering. Glad we picked this place after our hike.

Food was solid, well-presented, portions generous. Staff stayed on top of things even when it got busy. Good spot for a casual meal.

Ordered Taschenburger which is signature dish at restaurant opening time. The waiter said they ran out. How could they run out signature dish at the start of business? Seatings are stair corridors which is strange. Overall, there are much nicer and cheaper restaurants/cafe in Dresden.

Stopped by after the renovation and the place looks sharp. Same relaxed vibe, staff still friendly. That view over the water never gets old. Definitely coming back for dinner soon.

Stopped by for dinner on a weekday. Place was busy but got seated right away. Had the grilled fish and a cocktail—both came out quick. Fish was fresh, nicely seasoned, not overcooked. Portion size was fair for the price. Service was efficient, no hovering. Restroom was clean, which I always notice. Solid option if you're in the area and want a decent meal without the fuss.

The place has this old-school charm that hits you right when you walk in. Had the Würzfleisch and bread dumplings with mushroom sauce — both solid, nothing fancy but done right. The bruschetta was fine too. Quiet for a lunch spot, which I appreciated. Menu's short but covers what it needs to.

Lunch here never disappoints – that truffle pasta was properly seasoned. Cozy spot, though it got a bit busy around 1pm.

Decent spot for a relaxed dinner. We had the tapas surprise platter for two with a dry rosé, pretty good overall. Staff knew their stuff and pointed us in the right direction. Just a bit busy when we left, but fine.

We’ve eaten here a few times now—breakfast, lunch, dinner. Food’s been pretty consistent each visit. The Linzer Tarte is decent, not too sweet, worth ordering if you’re into that. Service was fine, nothing over the top. Prices fair for what you get. Only minor thing: it can get a bit busy around noon, so don’t expect a quiet meal then.

The food was tasty and portions were generous, but honestly the quality didn't quite match the quantity. Would've liked a bit more flavor depth.

Cozy spot with a decent buffet selection. Staff was friendly, even cracked a joke or two. Solid place if you're in the area.

The prices felt fair for what you get, especially given where it is. I had the homemade lemonade and it was really refreshing, not too sweet. My seat was comfortable enough to just sit and relax for a bit. Frozen yogurt was a nice way to end the meal. Nothing fancy, but a solid stop if you're in the area and want something easy.

The lighting in there is really something—soft and warm, makes you want to stay. Had the burger, it was okay, not the best. Service took a while but the girl was nice about it. Wouldn't mind trying the fish and chips next time.

The Max and Moritz platter was hearty and well-seasoned, exactly what I needed after walking around the market square. Pork loin steak was solid too, though the portions are pretty generous. Cozy rustic spot, nothing fancy but the ingredients felt fresh.

The interior really does feel like a little slice of Hanoi — lots of details to look at while you wait. Food was solid and the menu has plenty of options. Just be ready to wait a bit if you go at peak times. We didn't mind much, but it's worth knowing.
