The house wine was a nice match for my meal. The dining room has a cozy, rustic feel with lots of wood and soft lighting. It's the kind of place where you can just relax and not feel rushed.

The seafood tonkotsu ramen was a solid pick. Broth had that deep pork flavor, but with a light seafood hint so it wasn't overwhelming. The chopped green onions on top were a nice fresh crunch.

This Chinese restaurant in the basement of New Otani Hakata offers wonderful food and excellent customer service.

I tried the salmon burger lunch set. The bun was soft, and the salmon was fresh. The fries were especially nice - tasted like they were fried in fresh oil. A very comfortable meal.

The lunch buffet features a wonderful selection of freshly made pizza, pasta, and salads. Each dish is delicious, and the offerings are replenished regularly.

A solid spot for a late bite near Hakata Station. The ramen had a decently rich broth, and the gyoza were fine. Service was a bit slow, but it did the job.

The Kobe beef course was lovely. They served a nice variety of cuts, all cooked just right. The seats were comfortable and the service was very friendly, which made the whole meal feel relaxed.

Walked in without a reservation, got a table quickly. English menu made ordering a breeze. Food came out fast, perfect for a quick lunch. The chicken katsu was crispy and hot. Just what I needed on a busy day.

The skewered hotpot was really interesting! Tasty broth and you pick your own skewers. Food did take a while to arrive, but it was worth the wait. Nice spot for a casual meal.

The mentaiko platter was so fresh! Shared it with friends, and the variety of Kyushu specialties was fun to try. Even without the squid, we had a good time. The sashimi was tasty too.

The grilled salmon salad was so fresh, with crisp greens and perfectly cooked fish. A healthy and satisfying choice.

I had a fantastic time celebrating a friend's wedding here! The staff went above and beyond to create a memorable experience with a special celebratory plate.

The omakase was really nice. I liked that the seats were comfortable and spaced out, made it easy to relax. The unlimited drinks option is a good deal. Just a heads up, the pacing between courses felt a little slow at times.

The grilled veggies had a nice crisp and were full of flavor. You can tell they put care into the prep.

Came here with friends for a casual dinner. The vibe downstairs is really lively and fun, perfect for catching up. The drinks menu is decently priced with lots of options. We just grabbed some local dishes to share. Good for a group hangout!

Stopped by for lunch. The grilled veggie tacos were a nice surprise. Really flavorful, actually filling for a veggie option. Didn't expect that.

The food here was the best we had in Japan. Each dish came with a translated description, which was really helpful. Just a great meal all around.

The sushi was prepared with precision. Took my time with each piece, the flavors lasted. A solid meal for a business dinner near the office.

Always a nice spot when I'm visiting. Feels cozy and lived-in, like a place the neighborhood actually goes to.

The curry pan is a standout here. Not greasy and packed with flavor, which is pretty good.

The pancakes were cooked to order, so fluffy. The portion was generous for the price. I was full for hours after.

The French toast was so fluffy, and the fresh fruit on top was a nice touch. I really enjoyed sharing it as a dessert. The service was friendly and made the whole experience very comfortable.

The miso soup here is really good. Rich flavor, not too salty. The fish on the nigiri is fresh, cuts are decent for the price. It’s a reliable spot when you just want some straightforward sushi.

Popped in before my train at Hakata Station. The tonkotsu ramen broth was rich and creamy, just how I like it. A bit on the salty side for me, but the noodles had a nice chew. Perfect for a quick, warm meal on a chilly day.

I had a delightful experience with the pasta lunch set for 1300 yen, which included a salad and dessert. The portion was filling and the staff were very attentive.

The classic katsu set is still the best. The space feels really cozy and comfortable, which I liked.

Been coming here for years, and the sushi masters are still the main draw. They're always behind the counter, making your order right in front of you. The basil sauce they sometimes use is a nice little twist. It's that consistency that keeps me coming back.

Owner runs the place solo but still gets the food out quick. Friendly even when I fumble with the menu in English. No fuss, just good service.
