The lunch specials run until 3 PM. It's a lifesaver for my weekend late lunches when other spots are shut.

Loved the old-school kissaten vibe here. The worn wooden chairs, the soft light, the quiet hum... it just feels so comfortable and real. A perfect spot to slow down. The coffee was good, simple.

Convenient spot in the Tenjin Arcade for a quick bite while shopping. Had the chicken katsu curry, portion was decent for the price. Service was efficient, got my order in under 10 minutes. Good for a solo lunch.

The shrimp tempura udon. The batter on the tempura stays firm even in the broth, which has a deep, savory flavor. It's a good, filling bowl.

A very cozy spot by the little park. The wooden chairs were surprisingly comfortable for a long lunch. I appreciated the quiet, unhurried service.

The grilled meats were good, but I was really impressed by their wine selection. Found a nice red that paired perfectly.

The mini set is a solid deal. The champon was good, but the real star was how well the takana rice ball paired with a crisp lager.

The curly noodles are thick and hold the broth well. I followed the staff's tip: dip the nori in the soup, then wrap it around a bit of rice. It's a good, efficient way to eat. The soup is rich without being too heavy.

The service was really attentive. They noticed my water glass was low before I did, and the staff explained the specials without rushing. Food came out at a nice pace too. Felt well looked after.

Came here solo after arriving at Hakata Station. The location inside Ichibangai is super convenient. The place is clean and easy to find. Perfect for a quick meal alone. The ramen was okay, but honestly, the portion felt a bit small for the price.

A decent spot. Gets lively with tourists, which is nice.

Lively spot, packed with locals. Staff friendly and their English was decent enough. The house red was surprisingly good with the grilled meats, a solid pairing.

The afternoon tea at this historic hotel is a must-try! The food was delicious, and the serene garden view added to the overall charm. It's an ideal place for special occasions.

The set menu is a lot of food for the price. My portion was huge, and it even came with almond tofu at the end. I couldn't finish it all.

No free parking but the lot next door is only 100 yen an hour. Super convenient spot right by the station.

The owner really knows his sake. I asked for a recommendation to go with my grilled fish, and he suggested a light, dry one. It was a nice match. The sake list is quite extensive, which is great for someone like me who enjoys exploring different pairings.

The location is a bit out of the way, so check the bus times. I took a taxi from the station, which was easy. The staff were very kind and attentive, which made the whole visit feel relaxed.

Loved the Scandinavian, handmade vibe here. Feels like a renovated old house. So calm and relaxing. Saw a nice stream of locals coming in, which is always a good sign. A really pleasant spot to unwind.

Found this little ramen spot in Ropponmatsu. The noodles had a nice springy bite, and the broth was rich but not too heavy.

Came here solo and grabbed a seat at the counter. The old-school izakaya vibe is cozy, feels like a real local spot. Portions are decent for the price, especially the grilled items. Good for a casual, filling meal without breaking the bank.

The bubble tea was really good. Perfect for a quick bite during lunch break. Got the classic milk tea with pearls. Just the right sweetness.

Found this place after asking around. The chicken sashimi was a revelation. Paired it with a local sake that really brought out the delicate flavor. The grilled local chicken was fantastic, too—even got a nod from a Miyazaki native at the next table. Yeah, the alley location is tricky.

The vegetable miso ramen's broth was so rich, but the veggies were incredibly fresh.
