The chefs kept an eye on things, which I noticed. Even when it got busy, our plates were cleared promptly and water glasses stayed full. That attention to detail matters.

This place was buzzing on a Friday night! The retro decor is super stylish, and the energy is infectious. Perfect spot for a group to grab drinks and share plates. Just be prepared for it to be a bit loud.

Even late after the concert, the chef's warm welcome was so nice. The course menu had good choices.

Been coming here for years, and the Iwai Mochi is always the reason. They grill it fresh every time, so the outside gets that perfect light crisp. The sweet bean paste inside is just right, not too heavy. It's my go-to with their tea.

The veggies here are so fresh and crisp, it's a real surprise for an all-you-can-eat spot. The plating is beautiful too, like a little garden on the plate.

Loved the privacy here. Tables are nicely spaced, you can actually have a conversation. The modern Japanese vibe is clean and calm, perfect for a quiet date night.

Small spot, just a few seats. Perfect for a solo lunch. Ordered the daily special—a simple grilled fish set. The fish was cooked just right, skin crispy. Rice was good quality. A quiet, focused meal.

Stopped by for a casual dinner. The vibe is really chill, not loud at all. Had the grilled fish, it was simple but good. Just a solid, relaxed spot for a meal.

Steak came out a bit overdone, which was a shame. But the salad bar! So many fresh options, really nicely arranged. That part saved the evening for me.

Good spot for a casual meal. The Hawaiian decor is fun, not overdone. Had the Loco Moco—the hamburger patty was juicy and the gravy had a nice depth. A bit on the pricey side for what it is, but the location right by the station is super convenient.

The staff were really nice. They kept checking on our hot pot and were super patient with our toddler.

The pastries here are incredible. Had the almond croissant and it was flaky, buttery perfection. The coffee from the vending machine upstairs? Not so much.

The small ramen was just right after a few drinks. Not too heavy, but still hits the spot. Good call for a late-night bite.

The motsunabe broth was light and savory. It really let the cabbage shine. A nice local specialty to try.

The limited-time sukiyaki set was a good deal. The beef was tender, and the broth had a nice depth. Just felt the portion could have been a bit more generous for the price.

Late-night Korean skewers hit the spot. The menu had good drink options, and I found a soju that paired nicely with the grilled meats. Tables were spaced well, not cramped. Solid for a casual bite after hours.

QR code ordering was super convenient. Got my sashimi platter and grilled chicken skewers in like 10 minutes, even though the place was packed. No waiting around for a server.

The handwritten orders are a nice touch. Food is pretty good, and it's clearly a local favorite.

The pork steak is the only thing on the menu. It's a simple, uncomplicated cut. The meat was cooked just right, not dry at all. Good for a quick lunch.

Nice little izakaya in the KITTE basement. The QR code ordering is super easy, which is great when you're dining solo. Happy hour is a plus.

The croissants are seriously good. So flaky and buttery! I grabbed a couple for a quick breakfast with friends and they were still delicious the next morning. Perfect for sharing.

Stumbled upon this spot by Tenjin-Minami Station. The set course was a great deal, and every dish, from the starter to the dessert, felt really well put together. A nice find!

Nice private rooms. Good for business dinners. Seasonal Japanese dishes looked great. Presentation was on point.

Simple breakfast spot, but the food is tasty. I like the counter seating, easy to pop in alone. They take cashless payments, which is handy. The terrace is nice on a quiet morning.

A decent spot for a meal near Ohori Park. The location is convenient. I had the curry rice after a walk - it was a pretty good, hearty portion. The service was a bit slow, but the food hit the spot.

The soba portions here are huge for the price. I got the regular size and it was more than enough for lunch. The side dishes are cheap too if you want extra toppings.

The staff were polite and kind, contributing to a pleasant dining experience, and the overall ambiance is reminiscent of a luxury hotel lounge.
