The service was excellent, and the staff were very attentive. I felt well taken care of throughout my visit, which added to the overall enjoyable experience.

The upstairs waiting area was a nice touch. They had comfy seats and dim lighting, which made the wait for a table feel less rushed. The tablet ordering was handy too, but I really appreciated that they thought about the waiting experience.

Been coming here for years since it's close to Karato Market. The fugu is always fresh and prepared right. Simple place, but that's how you know it's the real deal. A bit pricier than some spots, but you're paying for quality.

The omelet pilaf was so buttery and good! Perfect for a quick catch-up with friends.

The service is exceptionally attentive and considerate, with the staff going above and beyond to create a memorable experience, especially for celebrations like birthdays.

The unagi was so fresh, you could taste the quality. I really liked that they use domestic eel and Koshihikari rice. The rice had a perfect texture, slightly firm and fragrant. It made the simple bowl feel very satisfying and wholesome.

The roasted green tea ice cream was a nice match with my after-dinner coffee. Good balance of sweetness and a hint of bitterness.

Been coming here for years, and the grilled mackerel set is always my go-to. It's consistently hot, fresh off the grill. The self-serve rice station is a big plus, and they keep it really clean. That's what keeps me coming back.

The toasted triangle sandwich with cream cheese and cookie dough is my go-to. Really hits the spot.

This place was buzzing on a Friday night! The retro decor is super stylish, and the energy is infectious. Perfect spot for a group to grab drinks and share plates. Just be prepared for it to be a bit loud.

Stopped by for a casual dinner. The vibe is really chill, not loud at all. Had the grilled fish, it was simple but good. Just a solid, relaxed spot for a meal.

The staff were really nice. They kept checking on our hot pot and were super patient with our toddler.

The pastries here are incredible. Had the almond croissant and it was flaky, buttery perfection. The coffee from the vending machine upstairs? Not so much.

The small ramen was just right after a few drinks. Not too heavy, but still hits the spot. Good call for a late-night bite.

The motsunabe broth was light and savory. It really let the cabbage shine. A nice local specialty to try.

QR code ordering was super convenient. Got my sashimi platter and grilled chicken skewers in like 10 minutes, even though the place was packed. No waiting around for a server.

The handwritten orders are a nice touch. Food is pretty good, and it's clearly a local favorite.

The pork steak is the only thing on the menu. It's a simple, uncomplicated cut. The meat was cooked just right, not dry at all. Good for a quick lunch.

The croissants are seriously good. So flaky and buttery! I grabbed a couple for a quick breakfast with friends and they were still delicious the next morning. Perfect for sharing.

The soba portions here are huge for the price. I got the regular size and it was more than enough for lunch. The side dishes are cheap too if you want extra toppings.

The tofu milk coffee was a nice surprise. The whipped cream really did taste like smooth tofu, blended well for a soy latte vibe.

Been coming here for years after work. It's right by Kokura Station, so easy to pop in. Even on a Saturday night, I got a seat without waiting. That's the main thing for me - it's always reliable. The tonkatsu is consistently good, just like I remember.

The counter seats were just right, not too close together. Very comfortable for a relaxed meal. The chef kindly adjusted things for our group without any fuss.

The atmosphere is pleasant and the staff are very kind, making for a truly welcoming dining experience.

Stopped in for a quick bite. The charcoal-grilled chicken in the mentaiko bowl was really good, smoky flavor came through nicely. Service was fast, which was perfect.
