First time trying the smoked horse meat from the AYCE menu. It was surprisingly tasty! The kushiage is always solid. They had a nice selection of local sake that paired really well with the smoky flavor. A bit pricey for the lunch service, but the drinks made it worthwhile.

Love that this place has such a loyal crowd—it's got a great vibe for catching up with friends. The whiskey list is solid, we found a few new ones to try. Perfect for a casual night out.

The hamburger steak was pretty good, very juicy. Fries were decent too. A bit on the pricier side for what it was, but fine for a casual dinner.

Right in front of Kurashiki Station, so easy to find. We parked nearby and walked in. The location really is the main draw here, especially if you're just visiting and want to grab a bite without wandering around.
