Stopped here for lunch while wandering the old town. The fish was really fresh, grilled nicely. Desserts were decent too. Sat outside by the street, which was nice for people-watching. Waiters were friendly enough, didn't rush us. Would come back if I'm in the area again.

Amazing local restaurant, simple food done well. My husband had spaghetti bolognaise and I had seafood spaghetti, both excellent.

This restaurant was very classy with a delightful amusee bouche to start with I had tomato soup served over a poached egg from a current it was rich and fresh followed by the beef Wellington beautifully presented and for desert the falsetto creme brulee . The service was immaculate overseen by the delightful head waiter Manuel Santos. In short the best meal have had so far with a wine list to suit every taste and pocket.

The service here is exceptional, with attentive staff who go above and beyond to ensure a wonderful dining experience. Highly recommend!

The Nikita was cheap and hit the spot on a hot day. Service was friendly, no complaints. Good quick stop.

The pistachio cheesecake was the highlight—beautifully plated and not too sweet. Would've loved a dessert wine pairing option though. Nice quiet spot for an afternoon treat.

Craving for seafood. Oh yes it’s one of the best seafood platter I have ever had. Alberto was so friendly and the flavour was amazing in food. Will definitely come back.

The fried stuff was surprisingly good, and that dessert corner caught me off guard. Nothing fancy, but fine for a quick bite.

Nice terrace for people-watching with a drink. Service gets a bit spotty when they're packed, but the view makes up for it.

The food is truly delicious and authentic, with fresh fish and dishes like cataplana and pepper steak standing out as real favorites.

The tuna belly was spot on, really fresh and well prepared. I had a glass of white wine that paired nicely with it, which made the whole thing better. Vegetable tartare had good texture too. Service was attentive without hovering. Place got busy later, but we never felt rushed. Solid spot if you're into seafood and a decent drink list.

Stopped in for a drink and ended up staying longer than planned. They brought out banana chips, olives, and corn on the house—nice touch. Felt relaxed just sitting there after walking around all day. Good spot if you need a break.

Came back twice during our stay—that says it all. Host remembered us and poured something local we hadn’t tried. Wine list is small but solid. Just wish they had a few more snacks to nibble on.

Superb service and food. Will definitely be back next time when I will be back in Madeira. Thank you very much for making us feel welcome!

I had an amazing experience at this restaurant! The food was fantastic, especially the tuna and desserts. The ambiance was beautiful, but the service could use some improvement.

I highly recommend this place for its amazing mac 'n cheese burger and perfect fries. The desserts are also a delightful surprise!

Nice little stop for coffee and fresh juice. Prices are fair, and the homemade cakes were good. Quiet spot with a great view, away from the road noise. 👍
