Good selection of cakes and sandwiches. Service was quick, got my order in no time. Place is clean, plenty of seating inside and out. Solid spot for a quick bite.

The pistachio cheesecake was the highlight—beautifully plated and not too sweet. Would've loved a dessert wine pairing option though. Nice quiet spot for an afternoon treat.

Nice terrace for people-watching with a drink. Service gets a bit spotty when they're packed, but the view makes up for it.

Stopped in for a drink and ended up staying longer than planned. They brought out banana chips, olives, and corn on the house—nice touch. Felt relaxed just sitting there after walking around all day. Good spot if you need a break.

Nice little stop for coffee and fresh juice. Prices are fair, and the homemade cakes were good. Quiet spot with a great view, away from the road noise. 👍

The grilled octopus was fresh and tender, not rubbery at all. Prices felt fair for the quality. A nice spot if you're craving seafood away from the tourist crowds.

Service was quick and the staff spoke good English. Place was packed with locals, always a good sign. Casual vibe, nothing fancy but solid.

The steak sandwich on bolo do caco bread was the highlight—came here by accident and it turned out to be the best decision. Service was fast and friendly, and the homemade fries were a nice touch.

The chicken and cheese sandwich hit the spot. Portion was decent for the price. Frappe was good but honestly half the glass was just foam, kinda annoying. Staff were chill though. Nice spot if you're around and hungry.

The octopus was really good, but honestly, it was swimming in oil and onions. Kind of heavy by the end. Staff didn't speak much English, but we managed with hand gestures and smiles, which was fine. Simple little place, nothing fancy, but the vibe felt genuine. Just wish they'd gone lighter on the oil.

Came here with a couple of friends after someone suggested it, and honestly the beef skewers were the highlight. Super juicy, decent size too. We also tried the roasted goat—pretty solid, though I wished there was a bit more sauce. The bolo de cacao was a nice little sweet ending. Place was packed but we didn't wait long for food. Would come back if I'm craving grilled meat again 😊

Came here three nights in a row — the poncha was that good. Food's simple but well done, and the staff actually remembers you.

Tomato soup was spot on, fresh fish too. Service kept it simple, no fuss. Prices fair for what you get. Solid spot if you're in the area.

Decent spot near the main temple if you're in Santa Cruz. Juices were fresh, food filled us up. Nothing fancy but fine for a quick lunch stop.

The terrace view really got me—just ocean and sky while we ate. Octopus and garlic shrimp were solid, and the bolo do caco might’ve been my favorite on the island. Service was a bit slow but I didn’t mind much. Would sit outside again just for that breeze.

The fried corn was the standout. Crunchy, salty, exactly what I wanted. Bolo do caco was decent too, soft and warm. Didn't care much about the view or the staff, but the food did the job. Would've liked a bigger portion though.

Stopped here with the kids after a long day—place was quiet, which helped. Service was friendly enough. I had the bitoque, decent meat, cooked right. Kids went for the bolognaise and cleaned their plates. Prices fair for what you get. Nothing fancy, but it did the job.

The seafood stew here is seriously generous — fed four of us easily. I liked that the place doesn't try too hard with decor, just simple tables and a relaxed vibe. Service was attentive but not hovering. Solid spot if you're after local seafood without any fuss.

Came here for a birthday dinner and honestly it was solid. The mushroom risotto starter was the highlight, really creamy and full of flavour. Scabbard fish and snapper were both cooked right, no complaints there. Service was attentive without hovering, and we got to keep the table the whole evening, which was nice. Not cheap, but you pay for the quality. Would go back if I’m in the area.

We greatly appreciated the service as well as the wood in the restaurant, probably one of the best we had while staying in Madeira. Thanks a lot for this nice experience

The steak sandwich was proper filling and didn’t break the bank. Place was packed with locals when we went, had that nice buzz. Service dragged a bit cause of the festival crowd, but the owner still came by to see if we were alright. Good spot to grab a bite with friends. 👍
