Came here twice while we were in town. Burgers are solid—juicy, decent toppings, no complaints. Staff was friendly, place felt chill. It was a bit empty both times, but honestly that made it easier to grab a seat and eat without rushing.

Stopped by for a drink and grabbed the Limonada Maracuja again. Still as good as the first time I came. Sea breeze makes it better. Prices are fair, especially next to the spots in Funchal. Service was friendly too. Been coming here for a while now, and it stays consistent. That’s why I keep coming back.

Best steak I've had in ages, and the wine list didn't disappoint either. Busy for a Thursday, always a good sign.

The sea urchin emulsion was amazing, great wine suggestion from the sommelier (Nat Cool) and a rum pairing for the dessert. Only downside was the bad acoustics in the restaurant, had to raise my voice for the conversation.

The gluten-free options here are impressive, with a decent three-course set menu at a reasonable price. A great choice for those with dietary restrictions!

Tuna fillet was cooked properly, not dry at all. Seafood soup had real depth, tasted like the sea. Portions are generous for the price, left full without feeling stuffed. Staff let us eat in peace, only checked in once. Solid local spot if you're in the area.

I had a fantastic dinner with authentic Italian food, and the service was excellent.

Came back here after two years and it still holds up. The cod fish was solid, beer cold, wine fine. Service was friendly without hovering. Place was pretty packed but the vibe stayed relaxed. Only thing is the tables are a bit close together, but that's typical for this area. Happy we went again.

Came here twice while we were staying nearby. The tempura shrimp appetizer was the standout—haven't found that anywhere else on the island. Prices are fair for what you get. Just wish the seating area was a bit more comfortable, the chairs got old after a while.

I don't understand reviews that say the staff are unfriendly and don't speak English. Wrong on both counts with exceptionally helpful and friendly staff with as much English as you'd ever need. The food was excellent and in a one week stay in Funchal, it ranked the highest. The included wine option was superb value. We would definitely return.

The place was really busy but service was efficient and friendly. Delicious Madeiran food with a modern twist and generous portions. Will definitely return

Decent spot for a quick meal. Got 20% off as a cruise passenger, which made it good value. Food was tasty enough, staff kept checking on us.

Delicious dishes prepared by someone who obviously cares about the presentation of the food. It tastes as good as it looks! Super selection of wines all at affordable prices.

Amazing local restaurant, simple food done well. My husband had spaghetti bolognaise and I had seafood spaghetti, both excellent.

This restaurant was very classy with a delightful amusee bouche to start with I had tomato soup served over a poached egg from a current it was rich and fresh followed by the beef Wellington beautifully presented and for desert the falsetto creme brulee . The service was immaculate overseen by the delightful head waiter Manuel Santos. In short the best meal have had so far with a wine list to suit every taste and pocket.

The service here is exceptional, with attentive staff who go above and beyond to ensure a wonderful dining experience. Highly recommend!

Craving for seafood. Oh yes it’s one of the best seafood platter I have ever had. Alberto was so friendly and the flavour was amazing in food. Will definitely come back.

The fried stuff was surprisingly good, and that dessert corner caught me off guard. Nothing fancy, but fine for a quick bite.

Nice terrace for people-watching with a drink. Service gets a bit spotty when they're packed, but the view makes up for it.

Leeno's offers simple, honest food at a fair price: I had fish soup tasty and with large chunks of fish, with a side order of nice fresh hot bolo with garlic butter, my friend enjoyed the mashroom risotto as well seasoned, buttery, with champinions perfectly cooked (not mushy) and with a loverly parmesan topping. As desert, the passion fruit cheese cake is our favorite. We will be back.

If you like meat you will love it here. I particularly enjoyed the sliced pichana and my wife thoroughly enjoyed the sirloin.
