The chicken schnitzel was solid, and that tikka pizza actually worked better than I expected. Service was quick, no complaints there. Prices felt fair for what you get. Just a decent spot if you're after something easy and filling. Nothing fancy, but it did the job.

Lovely garden setting at Blue Goose, food was solid and tasty. Service kept things smooth the whole time. Nice spot if you're after something a bit different.

Warm little spot, staff actually seemed happy we came in. Scones were proper size, not those tiny sad ones you get elsewhere. Coffee did the job too.

Stopped in for a quick bite and honestly the wood-fired pizza caught me off guard. Crust had that nice char, toppings fresh. Menu’s huge for veggie folks, gluten-free stuff too. Place had a decent buzz but not chaotic. Only thing, service was a bit slow between courses. Still, solid spot if you’re in the area. 🍕

Pasta alla gricia was solid, real Italian flavors. Carbonara hit the spot too. Quick service, no fuss. Gelato next door is a good shout to finish.

The milkshake came in one of those spill-proof cups, smart for kids. Staff were friendly enough, didn't have to ask twice. Burger itself was decent, nothing mind-blowing though.

We stopped by for dinner and the staff really helped us pick the right cuts. They checked in a few times, which felt genuine, not pushy. I appreciated that they let us take our time with the menu. The meat was fresh, cooked well. Only thing, the place got a bit loud later on. Still, a solid spot if you're into good ingredients.

Came here with a bunch of friends and honestly the play area for kids is such a win for us. Secure and clean, staff were keeping an eye on things which was nice. Food came out fast even though we were a big group. Everyone left full and happy 😊

Mutton curry was proper. Rich, spicy, tender. Roti soaked up all that gravy nicely. Honestly one of the better ones I've had around here. Portion size decent for what you pay. Place gets busy quick though, so don't expect a quiet dinner. Worth stopping by if you're in the area.

Been coming here for a while now, and the lobster tail spaghetti still gets me every time. That lemon butter and chilli combo... proper good. Had the hake with prawns and pea purée this visit too, easily one of the best fish plates I've had in Cape Town. Service stays sharp, place is chill. Consistent, which is why I keep coming back.

The bay view is hard to beat, and the scrambled eggs were spot on. Quick service too, which I appreciated. Solid spot for a bite.

Cozy spot. Coal fire was going when we walked in—proper warm on a cold day. Chairs are comfy enough to just sit there for a while. Staff left us alone mostly, which I liked. Not a fancy place, just easy. Good for a slow afternoon.

Stopped here after seeing the penguins. Seafood platter was big, decent price for what you get. Staff friendly enough. Solid spot if you're already in the area.

Lots of space for the kids to run around and the animals just wandering about. Andrea cheesecake was properly good too. Service was friendly enough.

Stopped by for a late afternoon bite. Carrot cake was decent, really moist and flavorful. Service was friendly, no rush at all. Place is tucked away on a quieter street, which I liked. Wouldn't mind going back if I'm in the area again.

Came for the view, ended up staying for the seafood platter for two. Honestly generous portion — they even upgraded it so three of us could share. The calamari was properly tender, not rubbery at all. Lovely relaxed spot, though it did get a bit busy later in the evening.

The pork belly at lunch was proper good, and that view though 😍 Could've sat there all afternoon just soaking it in. Service was friendly too.

Good spot for a casual bite, that view over the lagoon is hard to beat. Samosa basket was decent, steak roll was a proper hearty portion. Service was friendly enough.

The wine tasting here is still the best in the area. That view with the free platters keeps me coming back.

The hake and calamari combo was solid—big portions, cooked properly. Sat outside and the view did most of the work. Service kept up even when it got busy, which surprised me. Could’ve used a bit more seasoning but honestly, I’d take that again.

Ducked in for a birthday lunch and honestly the leg of duck was the star — crispy skin, tender inside, exactly what I needed. Staff didn’t fuss over us, just let us enjoy the meal at our own pace. Place has a nice calm vibe too. Would come back for that duck alone 🦆

Friendly service even when they were packed. Got a table without waiting too long. Food came out quick and the prices felt fair for what you got. I had a glass of their house red with the pasta and it worked nicely. Solid spot if you're in the area and want something easy.

Stopped here for breakfast while walking around the harbour. The breakfast burger was massive, honestly more than I expected. Took a while to get through it but no complaints. Prices felt fair for what you got. Seating was comfortable enough to just sit and take my time. Friendly staff too, didn't rush me at all.

Found this spot while doing passport stuff. Fresh salad and a decent toastie. Quick enough, prices fair.

Stopped here on the way through and grabbed a slice of apple pie with vanilla ice cream. It was decent, but honestly for the price I expected a bigger portion. The bakery next door had nice fresh bread though. Service was quick enough, no complaints there. Just wish the pie was a bit more generous for what you pay.
