A family run place in a small town just a few kilometres from the highway. Great food, big portions. Go there on Wednesday and you can cherish the best ribs ever! The Harzer Steak was also fabulous. Plus a big glass of fantastic, German beer :) It's really worth to drive a bit away from the highway, where no decent food can be bought,-)

We were in the beer garden, which was very cozy. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The prices were reasonable. Our service was prompt and super friendly. It invites you to linger longer...
We'd like to give a better rating, but it's just not possible, no matter how hard we try... We had made a reservation online days in advance and had the reservation confirmed by phone. This would have been the perfect opportunity if a larger group had announced their arrival and we were running short on both time and space. The manager was undoubtedly trying very hard, but all her staff seemed to be running back and forth mindlessly, as if they were being paid by the mile. Nobody really had any time for us, and that was obvious. The Coke we ordered came without ice or lemon, as did the still water. There was no menu, but a blackboard that only offered two different burgers, knuckle of pork, or Leberkäse (i.e., four dishes). We opted for the burgers. They were tasty, no offense intended, but at least they should have come with fries for €12.00.
Absolutely outrageous. All the food is frozen. The meat is the size of a shoe sole. No card payments accepted, the atmosphere is a disaster, and the prices are quite high. The worst thing I've ever seen!!!!!
