Bismarck, the Iron Chancellor, and Mark Twain, the literati, were both frequent customers of this restaurant. The fact that it has been in business for over 300 years shows how popular it is. I saw this restaurant recommended in a travel book about Taiwan, so I came here! It really won&#39;t disappoint you!

The restaurant&#39;s dishes are innovative, from salads to desserts, they are all of high quality! Even the side dishes are delicious. Their flap steak is really first-rate, the beef is cooked to the right degree, the beef is tender and full of meaty flavor after being cooked, many Western restaurants in other places can&#39;t do this. The pork cheek is also delicious, the Pumpkin salad is fresh, the cream cheese and quinoa at the bottom are delicious and not too greasy, the dessert I tried Chocolate &amp; Whiskey, the whiskey ice cream is very fragrant, and the chocolate cake is very sandwichy. The salmon tartare, lamb, and dessert Almind cake with Tonka Beas and citrus on the second day are also first-rate. Cocktail is also good. There is an English menu.

I ordered a cup of coffee at a random cafe. Europeans seem to like the feeling of having a lot of cream on their coffee. As for the price, food in Europe is not cheap, a cup of coffee is about 5 Euros.

I was looking for a place to eat on the street opposite the Old Bridge in Heidelberg. I found this restaurant after reading the recommendation. Unfortunately, it was Sunday noon and it was past 11 o&#39;clock and they were still not open. With nothing to do, we kept waiting at the door. Later, the guy couldn&#39;t stand it anymore and let us go in and wait. We ordered draft dark beer, roasted pork elbow and roasted boiled meat with eggs. The quantity was really large. Two people didn&#39;t want to move after eating. It is recommended to order one and a snack. In addition to the roasted pork elbow, the dumpling inside is more special. I thought it was mashed potatoes from the picture, and I thought it was a big meatball when it was served. It was actually a big meatball mixed with potatoes and flour, which tasted good.

This is a nice restaurant with good food. For breakfast I recommend the chia pudding or the avocado toast. Friendly and attentive service, nice and clean food, large selection, great menu. Highly recommended, sometimes with loud American tourists. The egg fricassee was a novelty, not bad. The French toast was excellent and had plenty of calories. The coffee was not great.
