This is a really delicious Italian restaurant. The local matsutake pasta is delicious. The seafood platter is delicious. I highly recommend it. It is a little far from Schiltach. It takes about 5 minutes to get there by taxi. It costs about 10 euros. The Italian white wine is delicious! Everything is perfect and the price is not expensive!

A very popular coffee shop in Schiltach. It was full of people in the afternoon (mostly elderly people). It is a good place to rest after visiting the town. I only tried the coffee and cake this time. The taste was very good and the price was not high. I will try other snacks next time. The waiter was very friendly. Highly recommended!

Although it was a bit shady in the mountains, we still chose an open-air seat. In addition to selling homemade pastries and coffee, the store also provides some light meals. We ordered a smoked sausage potato salad and a Swabian dumpling salad. The dishes looked good and tasted good, but our minds were already on the cakes we had long admired.

However, only those that use the Black Forest specialty cherry brandy (Kirschwasser or Kirschschnaps) can be considered authentic Black Forest cherry cream cake. In Germany, Black Forest cake is a legally protected dessert. If a pastry chef makes and sells a cake that is not made according to the prescribed recipe and process, but calls it a Black Forest cake, then the pastry chef and even the store will be in big trouble.
