The owner is such a sweet lady, and she runs this lovely old-school diner all by herself. It feels very cozy and familiar, like stepping back in time. I did notice the service can be a little slow when it's busy, but she's always so kind and attentive. A very comfortable spot.

The view of Mount Fuji from my table was just stunning. I tried their Mont Blanc for dessert, and honestly, it's the best version I've ever tasted. The texture was incredible.

A cool spot with an art collection. Stopped in for a beer after a long trip; the staff were super relaxed and helpful.

Opens at 7:30, great for early risers. Came around 10 on a weekday, nice and quiet. The coffee was a solid start.

The private onsen had a clear view of Mt. Fuji. Perfect for a quiet soak. The public one was nice too, but the private deck was the highlight.

The in-house bread is really good. Clubhouse and pork cutlet sandwiches are huge, you could share one but you won't want to.

Came for the cream puffs. They're exceptional, not too sweet with generous cream. Enjoyed them with a glass of Sauternes after dinner. The pairing was spot on, though the puffs are a bit pricey.

Stopped by for a quick coffee after getting off the train. The counter seats by the window have power outlets, so I could plug in my laptop and work for a bit. Coffee was decent, nothing fancy, but the outlet situation is a lifesaver.

The matcha latte is my go-to here. It’s got that nice, earthy flavor and isn’t too sweet. Just the right pick-me-up for a slow afternoon.

The latte art is beautifully crafted, and the coffee carries a delightful sweetness that pairs perfectly with their delicious pasta dishes.

While the buffet selection was somewhat limited, the quality of the food was outstanding. The roast beef and beef curry were highlights, and I appreciated the refreshing taste of the dishes.

Grilling the dried fish at the table was a fun idea. The smell while it cooks is really something else. My squid got a little too crispy on one side though.

Cozy spot with wooden beams and warm lights. Perfect for studying or a date. But honestly, the portions are a bit small for the price. My pasta dish was tasty, but I was still a little hungry after.

The meat miso with green onions is a must. Their house sake was a nice pairing, though the portion felt a bit small.

Been coming here for years. Their house-roasted coffee is the real deal, robust and smooth. The beef stew is always tender, perfect for a rainy day. Just wish the portions were a bit bigger.

Nice bright space, feels open and cozy. Stopped in for a quick coffee. The barista was really helpful when I asked about customizing my drink.

The butter chicken curry was a highlight of my trip. The sauce was rich and flavorful, but I wish there were more vegetable options to go with it.

Stopped at the Izu Kogen roadside station cafe for a break. The free parking lot is huge, which is super convenient when you're on a road trip. Just grabbed a coffee and a light snack. Good spot to recharge.

The ordering system was straightforward, and they had an English menu which made things easy. I appreciated the quick service, especially since I was catching a train. The seats were quite comfortable too, a nice surprise for a station restaurant.

Right by Numazu Port, it's got that local, bustling vibe. Not a tourist trap. Had the grilled fish set - simple, fresh, tasted like the sea. A bit cramped at the counter, but that's part of the charm.

Loved the tatami floor seating here. It really felt authentic, like stepping into a proper local spot. Staff were super friendly and quick with everything. Made the whole meal feel relaxed and genuine.

This historic bakery is tucked away on the island. I got a warm bun and sat on the bench outside. The bun was tasty, but honestly, for the size, the price felt a bit steep. Still, it was a nice break from walking.
