The cannoli were actually fresh—shell still crunchy when I bit in. That’s rare around here, most places fill them way ahead. Grabbed one with the pistachio filling, it wasn’t overly sweet either. Quick stop, no fuss, just a solid pastry. Wouldn’t mind going back for another one before I leave.

The Jack Daniel's Pie really stood out. Rich without being too sweet, and you can actually taste the whiskey in there. Grabbed a slice after wandering around the area, sat outside for a bit. Quiet spot, no rush. Wish the portion was a bit bigger for the price though. Still, that pie was something else.

The lunch set here is solid — main dish plus a drink for 10 euros. I had the grilled fish and it came with a decent portion of veggies. Fish was fresh, not overcooked. For that price in this area, pretty fair. Service was fine, nothing fancy. Would come back if I'm nearby and want something light.

Burger was solid. Fries though? Small portion for the price. Kinda left me wanting more. Good patty, decent bun, but the whole thing felt a bit light for what you pay. If you're really hungry, get a side or something.

The pastizzi here are the real deal. Crust flaked apart the second I bit in, proper buttery layers. Ricotta filling was still hot, well seasoned. A local swore these were the best in Malta and honestly I can't argue with that. Just wish they had more than one type left when I got there.

Cisk beer was cheap and the 90s/00s rock playlist made it a chill spot to hang. Didn't try the food but the drinks alone were fine for a casual night.

Service was spot on - Rachel and Dunja actually cared if we enjoyed the meal. Prices fair for what you get. Pasta was solid, nothing fancy but done right. Place was busy but we never felt rushed. Good spot if you're in the area and want a proper meal without the tourist markup.

Stopped in for a quick lunch. Pierogi were solid, dough was light and the filling had good flavor. Borscht hit the spot too. Place is small and cozy, got my food fast which I appreciated. Would come back if I'm in the area again.

Lovely spot for a relaxed lunch. The hummus toast was really good, and the homemade lemonade hit the spot. Service was friendly and easygoing. Outdoor seating is nice, though the music can get a bit loud.

Staff actually explained the menu and handled my dietary stuff without fuss. Food came out fast and fresh. Solid spot for a quick lunch.

Loved the vibe here for a catch-up with friends. Butter chicken and naan were solid, and that peach cocktail surprised me. Service was on point too. Maybe a bit pricey but worth it for a fun night out.

Lovely dinner with my mum — the lamb was super tender, exactly what I needed. Date pudding for dessert was a nice finish too.

Pizza was solid and the bill came to €36 for two pizzas, drinks, and a cocktail—honestly not bad for Valletta. The crust was thin and crispy, exactly how I like it. Place was a bit busy but we didn't wait too long. Would go back for the price alone.

We came for a birthday dinner and Hamal looked after us well. Food arrived fast, music was fun, dancers were a nice touch. Really appreciated how fresh the ingredients tasted.

Been coming here for a while now, food's always solid. That peanut satay sauce is the reason I keep going back. Just wish they'd swap the noodles for gluten-free.

Stopped by for a quick lunch near the main square—staff actually took time to walk us through the menu, which I appreciated. Place felt relaxed, no rush. Had the rabbit stew, pretty solid. Nothing mind-blowing, but for the location and service, it does the job. Maybe a bit touristy, but I’d come back.

The crispy beef and crispy duck are the standouts here—lots of sauce, really flavourful. Steamed dim sum was nothing special, but anything with "crispy" in the name is a safe bet. I’d skip the dumplings next time and just double up on the duck.

Owners were really thoughtful—packed us chocolates for the road and mentioned a discount for next time. Pretty good service, made us want to come back.

Pizza was solid—crispy base, fresh toppings. Free appetizers while you wait are a nice touch too. Place gets busy but worth it.

We grabbed a table at the food court and honestly, the linguine with huancaína sauce was the star. Creamy, a little spicy, really well done. Portions are massive though—one main would easily feed two. Wine pairing surprised me too, felt like a proper sit-down spot. Service was friendly, kept checking in. Just a heads up, it gets busy around lunch, so grab a seat first.

Stopped by for a quick lunch. Got the regular size, price is a bit steep for what you get honestly. But the tea itself was decent, no complaints there. Service was fast, in and out in under 20 minutes. Fine if you need a quick bite and don't mind paying a little extra.

The vegan apple buckwheat crepe was alright, kinda tasted like pie filling straight from a can. Place was packed, nothing fancy. Could've used some fresh fruit on top.

Stopped by for a quick bite and ended up staying longer than planned. Place has a nice colorful interior, kinda artsy but not trying too hard. Staff was friendly, made me feel comfortable even though I was solo. Had the pasta, decent portion for the price. Nothing mind-blowing but solid. Wouldn't mind coming back if I'm in the area again.
