The experience was greatly enhanced when we received a written menu and could then ask our server for food and wine recommendations. It&rsquo;s a shame to only have the online menu as you lose the personal touch which makes the dining experience more pleasurable. Overall we very much enjoyed the food and ambience.

Our waiter, a Croat whose name I have forgotten, was absolutely wonderful. He moved us to an outside table in the shade and with a view of the harbor and hills when one became available. And he engaged us in friendly conversation. Beyond that, the food was excellent, particularly the mixed seafood risotto (requires two people to order). I&#39;d happily return again and again just to have the risotto and some sparkling water (although the suggested wine was very good and not overcharged). Inside is nice but could get a bit noisy when there is a group having lunch.

A thoroughly enjoyable experience, in a very stylish setting, and with great food, even beyond the restaurant&#39;s specialty: the costate.
