Nice spot for a quiet dinner. The place has a cool, artsy feel and the music was chilled. It's actually quite small, but they've made it feel open and cosy. Good for a laid-back evening.

The log fire downstairs is nice on a cold day, but honestly, I'm here for the food. The slow-cooked lamb shank was the real star. The meat just fell off the bone, and the gravy was rich and deep. That's what I'll remember.

The pierogi with cottage cheese and potato were a great quick bite. Wrappers were soft and elastic, and the crispy onions on top were a nice touch.

Been here a few times. The minestrone and butternut squash soups are always fresh, clearly homemade. The rigatoni alla norma is a real winner. Servers Michael and Samuel are good, they even split our pasta for us. Tiramisu and cheesecake were a bit dry this time though.

Decent Italian beer selection and a few desserts to choose from. The tiramisu was alright, not too sweet. Menu's got enough variety to keep things interesting for a casual meal.

Found this little spot wandering around the Grassmarket. The scrambled eggs were so creamy and perfect, honestly the best I've had in ages. The café allongé was a proper strong kick too. Just a really nice, relaxed vibe for a late breakfast.

Went back two days in a row, which says it all. The vegan pizza was incredible – the flavours and that vegan cheese were spot on. The lasagna the next day was a proper surprise, a taste I genuinely missed. Staff were lovely.

Been coming here for years. The chocolate desserts are consistently spot on, so I always stick with those.

Popped in for a quick lunch. Fish and chips portion was huge, more than enough. Place was clean which is good. Got the Innis & Gun lager with it, decent pint. Quick service, in and out.

The Hawaiian burger was exceptional! I would happily eat here every day if I could. Highly recommend this place for its great food and service.

Came here with a few mates for a catch-up. The place is so cosy and dimly lit, really nice for just chatting for ages. We had the scallops - they were spot on! A bit on the pricier side, but the vibe was just right for our group.

The £20 lunch set for two is a steal. Portions were generous, and the quality was spot on for the price. We left pleasantly full without breaking the bank.

The vibe is so chilled. Came for the vegan menu and ended up loving the chargrilled seitan with polenta chips. Just a really nice, easy spot to unwind.

We came up to Glasgow for the day and my husband booked the meal for us online It was our first time in Browns and we really enjoyed it, lovely staff, beautiful food and fabulous surroundings We will be definitely come back Thankyou

Lovely spot for a date night, the decor is so pretty. We had the truffle pasta and it was really creamy, just the right amount of truffle. A bit on the pricier side, but the vibe was worth it.

The lighting was so soft and warm, really lovely. Made the whole place feel cosy. The chicken jalfrezi was good, just the right amount of spice for me. A nice, relaxed spot.

Nice sourdough pizza starter. The sausage and honey topping was unreal. Ragu pasta was solid too. Staff were welcoming. Good evening.

Been coming here for years. The owners are the heart of the place, always so kind and welcoming. It's that classic Glasgow Italian cafe feel you just don't find much anymore. A proper family-run spot.

I really appreciate their focus on fresh ingredients. The ice cream was smooth and creamy, with a lovely natural fruit flavour. You can tell they use quality produce. The portion was a bit small for the price, but the taste was spot on.

The classic burger from Smokey Trotters is just fantastic. The patty was juicy and had this great smoky flavour, and the bun was soft but held everything together perfectly. Really hit the spot.

The vegetarian options here are so creative! I had the roasted pumpkin and sage pizza. You can really taste the freshness of the ingredients, especially the herbs. The base was light and crisp. A lovely, healthy-feeling meal.

Tofu was seasoned nicely. Had the vegan kimchi cheese fries too, they're a solid pick. Good to see a few veggie options on the menu.

Been coming here for years, and the coffee's always spot on. That's the main thing for me. The full English is decent, bit of a fan of the extra crispy bacon they do. Keeps me coming back.

Upstairs is much quieter, a nice escape from the buzz. The rice bowl was a solid choice, not your usual pub grub. Good flavours and a decent portion.

Service was spot on. The team approach means you're never looking around for someone, but they don't hover. Just right.

The portions are generous, and I appreciate the menu's variety. They have options for gluten-free and dairy-free diets, which is helpful. The ingredients in my salad tasted fresh, though the dressing was a bit heavy for my taste. Good value overall.

Been back a few times now and the veggie options are always solid. The portions are huge, I usually end up taking half my main home! Staff are really nice too.

Stopped by for a coffee and ended up trying the apple cream turnover. Pastry was super flaky, filling was spot on. Could see myself coming back just for that.

Popped in for a light lunch with friends. The salmon platter was really nice, fresh and generous. Just the right vibe for a casual catch-up, not too loud so we could actually chat.

The afternoon tea was so generous! The scones were still warm and the cakes were clearly homemade. Could barely finish it all.
