I love this place. It has lovely cakes, coffee and service. Today I also had a soup (spicy carrot) and bread and dips to go with it - lekker lekker! The staff are always very helpful and friendly too!

Been coming here for a while now. The cortado's consistently good, and they actually switch up the beans. Staff always takes a minute to talk you through them, which I still appreciate.

The terrace catches full sun, so on a warm evening it’s a solid pick. I had the loaded hummus with the fluffy bread and pickled onions—that was the best part. The yellow beetroot salad was fresh but a bit too subtle for me. Portion sizes are decent for the price, though I did leave still slightly hungry. Beer list is good, even has a non-alcoholic one.

Nice spot tucked away in an industrial area. Interior’s well done, open kitchen gives it a bit of life. Menu covers enough ground, and they handled a gluten-free request without fuss. Service was efficient, no waiting around. Not the kind of place you’d stumble upon by accident, but worth knowing if you’re nearby. Solid option for a business lunch.

The coffee was solid and the apple pie even better. Not too sweet, pastry actually flaky. Sat outside looking at the castle wall while drinking it. Staff left me alone mostly, which I appreciate. Pie could've been warmer but that's a minor thing. Fine spot if you just want a decent slice and caffeine.

Really loved our first dining out since the lockdown. The service was more than excellent and food was in great display and they were delicious!

Came in right before closing, they didn't even blink. Food was fresh and tasty, service friendly. Prices fair for what you get. Place was quiet, almost empty. Fine by me.

I love the interior and the atmosphere inside. The food was delicious and looked amazingly good. The wine selection is very wide and you can have anything you prefer. We had a mistake in our check and saw it after the payment, but the staff fixed it very quickly. It was a great experience

The place was packed at lunch but they still got us seated pretty fast. Club sandwich hit the spot. Only thing, tables are a bit close together so you're basically sitting next to strangers.

The tomato soup with bread and cheese and pesto was the kind of starter that makes you slow down. Tagliatelle was decent, pizza fine. Place has a warm, low-key feel, nothing fancy. Just a comfortable spot to sit and eat without rushing. Maybe not mind-blowing, but I left satisfied.

The old Philips lab building gives this place a cool vibe. Came for a documentary screening and grabbed a bite after — food was solid, prices fair. Nice spot for indie film fans.

The grilled fish was really the highlight — flaky and seasoned just right. It’s in a central spot so easy to find, but yeah, prices are a bit steep. Still, I felt like the quality matched what you pay. Service was attentive even though it got pretty busy. Maybe book ahead if you go on a weekend.

The on-site brewery tour with Jan was pretty cool, and their own beer is definitely the highlight. Fish and chips were decent too, nothing fancy but hit the spot.

Great service and tasty food!We loved the black risotto and delicious home made desserts. The service was very friendly and they were attentive to the detail. We will come back!

Came back for the club sandwich and it still hits the spot. Quick lunch, didn’t have to wait long. Staff was friendly too. Place is nothing fancy but for the price it’s solid. Just what I needed today.

Pleasant grand cafe / brasserie style restaurant with good food and friendly staff. The only recommendation/advice for this restaurant would be to think about the layout of the restaurant as it is not logically laid out, few 'corners' have been created for guests.

The high tea spread here is seriously generous—so many teas to pick from. Sweets ran a bit too sugary for me, but the savory bites saved it. Cozy interior too, really cute for a lazy afternoon. Wish I had more room to try everything.

The pancakes are decent, especially the cheese and ginger one. Inside gets loud when kids' parties are on though. Second time we sat outside, way more pleasant.

Stopped by for a quick bite on the Waalkade. Cheese croquettes came out a bit dry, maybe sat under the heat lamp too long. Service was on the slower side but not terrible. Honestly, you're there for the view of the bridge anyway. That's the main draw.

Lots of space for the kids to run around, they even had giant chess pieces out. Food was decent, nothing crazy. Got a bit chilly once the sun went down though.

The terrace is the real selling point—comfy chairs and you can watch the town hall. Coffee was fine, but you're paying for the view. Decent spot to sit for a while.

Been coming here for a while now. The in-house roasted coffee on Tuesdays is the reason I keep showing up. Had the De Pelikaan again with the whipped cream on top. Still as good as the first time. Place gets busy but that's fine. Just wish they'd open a bit earlier sometimes.

The food was really tasty, nicely plated too. We sat near the window, and the chairs were comfortable enough to just relax and take our time. Service was friendly without hovering, which I appreciated. Only thing, it got a bit busy later, but that didn't bother us much. A solid spot if you want an easy, pleasant meal.

Came here on a sunny afternoon and grabbed a seat on the terrace. My friend ordered the Philly cheese steak and honestly it looked better than mine 😅 the sliders were fresh though. Service was quick and prices felt fair for what you get. Wouldn't mind coming back.

The seating is really comfortable, and the warm lighting makes it easy to stay for a while. Fries were a bit overdone for me, but the rest was solid.

The five-course lunch was beautifully presented, and the ingredients tasted really fresh. Wine pairing matched well too. Service was attentive but not hovering. Just wish the portions were a bit more generous for the price.

Sunny terrace on a nice square, that’s the draw. Coffee was solid, nothing fancy but hit the spot. Staff seemed chill, not hovering. Sat outside for a bit, people-watching. Place felt relaxed, like a proper local spot. Maybe a bit slow when it got busy, but I wasn’t in a rush. Fine for a lazy afternoon stop.

Stopped by for lunch and the portion felt fair for what you pay. Nothing fancy, just a solid no-fuss spot when you're nearby. I had the grilled chicken salad—greens were fresh, not wilted, which I always appreciate. Maybe not the most exciting meal, but it hit the spot.
