The kung pao was solid and the service was quick. Drinks came out looking nice too. Good spot if you're nearby and want something reliable.

The beef risotto was really good, creamy and the meat was tender. But yeah, it's not cheap. Also, they charge for water, which caught me off guard. Nobody mentioned it when we sat down. Just something to keep in mind if you go. I'd probably come back for the food, just wish they'd be upfront about the water thing.

The tacos al pastor with cheese and avocado were really good, fresh ingredients. Mezcal cocktail was solid too. Decor is colorful and artsy, fits the vibe.

The brunch buffet had a good spread of Guatemalan dishes, and the coffee helped while we waited. The grounds are nice to walk around after eating. Portions were decent for the price.

Stopped here for lunch and grabbed a table by the window. The view of the pier is pretty nice, nothing fancy but relaxing. Had the fried fish with rice and it was fresh, not greasy at all. Prices felt fair for what you get. Place was clean and quiet when I went, so that was a plus. Would come back if I’m in the area again.

The chocolate tour was pretty good. Andreia knew her stuff after 14 years there. Caramelized white chocolate bar was the highlight.

The Toscana pizza really hit the spot—blue cheese and mushrooms worked so well together. Cozy little place, though the vibe felt a bit busy for my taste.

Came here four times during my week in the area. Food's been solid every single time, no complaints. Place has a good vibe, nothing fancy but you feel comfortable. Not the cheapest spot around but you get what you pay for. I'd say it's worth checking out if you're staying close by.

Came here on a quiet night. Food was solid, well-seasoned. Staff left us alone, which I liked. Place has a nice calm vibe, not too loud. Good for a chill dinner.

The red snapper filet was fresh, cooked right. Greek salad on the side was a nice touch too. Place feels upscale but not stiff. They had an English menu which helped a lot. Solid pick if you're around the area.

Nice spot near the embassy, easy to get to. Staff was patient with my Spanish, which I appreciated. Place felt clean and chill.

Solid sushi spot for the price. Got a free miso soup with my order. Shrimp tempura roll was a bit rice-heavy though. Chicken teriyaki could've been crispier. Decent for Guatemala.

Good spot for a quick bite. Plenty of seating, no wait at lunch. Got the sampler platter, came out fast and hit the spot. Staff kept it moving.

The Carbonara Especial was really good. Creamy but not too heavy, and the portion felt just right. I had it with a glass of red wine from their list. Pasta was cooked al dente, which I always appreciate. Only thing is the place got a bit loud later in the evening, but the food made up for it.

Happy hour was solid — shrimp tacos hit the spot and the drink deals were decent. Loved the relaxed vibe, staff actually checked in on us. Place got a bit loud later but still a good spot.

The birria tacos hit the spot after a long hike. Rich and flavorful, and they didn't rush us even though we came close to closing time.

Been coming here for months, Sunday pizza deal never disappoints. Fire pit patio is the reason I keep going back.

The breakfast spread has some solid traditional Guatemalan options. Ingredients tasted fresh, which I always appreciate. Live music on weekends is a nice touch, though it can get a bit loud for conversation.

The pumpkin and beef tortellini really stood out—didn’t expect that combo to work so well. Cocktails were solid too. The seating area felt a bit cramped though, like you’re almost elbow-to-elbow with the next table. Still, for a casual Italian spot, it does the job. I’d come back if I’m in the area and craving pasta.

Came here a few times while I was in San Pedro. The pepian was solid, rich and thick, just how it should be. Cheap too. Staff was friendly but honestly I was mostly focused on the plate. Portions could be bigger but for the price it works.

Nice little place with a view that actually delivers. There's a cat that just hangs around, kinda made it feel more homey. Food was solid, nothing fancy but tasty and fair prices. They take cards too, which is convenient. Only thing is seating's a bit tight, but it's fine for a quick bite.

The wings were solid, crispy and tossed in just enough sauce. Fries came out hot too. Beer list had some good options. That's really all I needed.

The lemon sauces and the salad dressing were the best part. Everything tasted like it was made that morning, not from a bottle. I just wish the portion was a bit bigger for the price. But that dressing though, I’d come back just for that.

The staff actually knew the menu and pointed me to the right dish. Seasoning was on point, ingredients felt fresh. Wish I lived closer to come back more often.

The rooftop terrace is a nice touch—you get a chill view of the city while sipping a local beer. Tapas were solid, though the seats could be a bit more comfy.

The grilled chicken salad was fresh, greens crisp and the dressing light. I liked that they didn't drown it. Portion was decent for the price. Place was clean, quiet enough to actually talk. I'd go back for that salad again. Maybe try the soup next time.

Decent burger spot. Got the classic cheeseburger and it was pretty good—patties had real flavor, not dry. Portion was big enough that I couldn't finish the fries. For the price, it's hard to complain. Probably the best value we had in Guatemala City. Service was fine, nothing special, but I'd go back if I'm in the area.

The chef actually came out to say hi while we were eating—thought that was a nice touch. I had the grilled octopus and it was cooked just right, not chewy at all. Coffee after the meal was solid too. Service kept things moving without hovering. Only thing is the place gets a bit loud when it fills up, but I’d still go back.

Great spot to fuel up before exploring. Big portions and strong coffee, plus the courtyard seating is super chill. Would be perfect for hanging with friends.

The rooftop patio’s a solid spot. We split the pepián and a tempeh burger—both were tasty. A cold glass of sauvignon blanc paired well with the sushi. Service kept our drinks topped up without hovering.
