Excellent service from Joseph who was friendly and helpful. He gave us excellent advice and made sure we had a great visit. The food was excellent as always.

Lovely to see they welcome dogs, but the real highlight for me was the freshness of the ingredients in the salad. The greens were crisp and vibrant, and the grilled chicken was perfectly seasoned. A very pleasant lunch.

The live music nights are a nice touch. But honestly, I'm here for the food. The fish and chips are the real draw - the batter is light and crisp, and the chips are proper thick-cut. That's what keeps me coming back.

Good for a proper catch-up. Lively but not too loud. Staff were friendly, knew the menu. Portions are generous, food always fresh. Solid spot.

Popped in for a last-minute lunch. The fish and chips were unreal—the batter was so light and crispy, honestly the best I've had in ages. Staff were really nice about us having the kids in tow, too.

Been coming here for years. The Plucky Pheasant burger is the one I keep ordering. The beef is solid, and that chilli jam with the cheddar just works. Comes with proper crispy chips and a bit of salad. Does the job.

Sunday carvery. Massive portions of meat, really solid. Self-serve roast potatoes and veg are a good idea. Gets a bit hectic around the food station though.

Leonie was a star at the Christmas brunch rush. Our drinks never ran dry for the full 90 minutes, and she handled the chaos with such a calm smile. That kind of steady service when it's that busy is really something.

Good selection of beans, appreciate the oat milk option. Flat white was smooth, hand brew had nice clarity. Prices are fair for the area. Quick service on a weekday morning.

The banana tempura for dessert was spot on. Really crispy outside, nice and sweet inside. Came out quick after the main, which I appreciated. A good, simple finish to a quick lunch.

Popped in after a swim. The chocolate lava cake was spot on - gooey centre, not too sweet. Service was quick and friendly. Just what I needed.

The Cajun fries were spot on. Really crispy, and the seasoning was just right. The "small" portion was actually quite big, easily enough for two.

We had a lovely evening. Adam, Anvitha, and Colin took great care of us. The food was fresh and tasty. I was particularly pleased with the wine list—found a nice Pinot Noir that went perfectly with the salmon. A very pleasant spot.

Service was really attentive. They noticed my friend's birthday and brought out a small dessert with a candle. It was a nice, simple gesture. The staff were polite and checked in without being overbearing. Made the evening feel a bit more considered.

Had their three-course lunch. The modern dishes were well presented, and the service was attentive even though it's student-run. Prices are surprisingly low.

As a vegetarian, I was pleasantly surprised by the chickpea wraps. They were actually really flavourful, and the peri-peri chips on the side were a nice touch. A solid choice when you're dining with meat-eaters.

Been coming here for years. The staff are always friendly and helpful, no matter how busy it gets. They remember regulars, which is nice. Makes the place feel local.

Came here on a whim for dinner. The fish and chips were spot on – crispy batter, flaky fish. The place has a nice, relaxed vibe. Seating was comfy. A solid meal.

Authentic Italian spot in Guildford. Feels like a family-run place, really cosy and welcoming.

The kids got to make their own pizzas with the chef! Such a fun idea for a party. The little ones were so focused on their toppings. My pizza was a bit doughy in the middle, but honestly, watching them have that much fun was the best part. 🍕

This place is always packed, so getting a seat is a bit of a mission. But the coffee is really good, strong and smooth. Worth the wait for a table.

The hash browns were so good, crispy outside and fluffy inside. I was also really happy to see a separate gluten-free menu, made ordering easy.

Took the kids here for a quick lunch. They were happy with the activity sheets and the special chopsticks kept them busy. Food came out fast, which was the main thing for us. Decent spot when you need something easy.

The cappuccino here is lovely, really smooth and just the right temperature. The supervisor was so kind when I had trouble with the payment app, patiently sorted it out for me. A very comfortable spot to relax.

Pre-theatre menu was a good deal. The chicken satay came out hot and juicy, which was a nice touch. Service kept up well despite the rush.

Still love coming here after all this time. The place just feels cosy and lived-in, like a proper local. The staff are sound, and the food's always reliable. It's just a comfortable spot to be.

Came here with a few mates last week. The mocktails are huge, honestly so much drink and not just a cup of ice! 🍹 Made it perfect for a long catch-up. The food was tasty and didn't break the bank either.

The English breakfast is pretty good here. The sausages are tasty and the toast is just right. It's a decent spot for a quiet morning meal, though the coffee could be a bit stronger.

Lovely spot by the canal for lunch. The outdoor seating was perfect on a sunny day, really helped us unwind. Food was decent, though my salad felt a bit over-dressed. Still, a nice place to relax.

This restaurant offers excellent value for money with its Indian buffet brunch. The food was tasty and varied, and the service from Mo was friendly and attentive.
