Solid Dutch apple pie, proper flaky crust. Flat white went well with it. Cozy spot, staff was friendly. Good enough for a quick stop in Haarlem.

Been coming here for a while now. The open kitchen still gets me every time—watching the chefs work is half the fun. Wine list is solid too.

Pasta was the highlight — cooked properly, nice bite to it. Pizza was okay, nothing crazy. Service friendly enough. Bit steep for what you get, but you could do worse around here.

Tucked away on a quiet street, easy to walk past. Staff noticed I skipped the meat and offered to swap it out without me asking. Portions are proper, not those tiny fancy plates. Food was decent, nothing mind-blowing but solid. Would pop back if I'm in the area again.

The terrace is solid — even with wind and rain it felt protected. Staff knew the menu and wine list well. Food was good, service quick enough for a lunch break.

The gluten-free crepe was solid. Had the Nutella one and it hit the spot, honestly the best I've tried. Savory ones are big enough to share. Good spot if you're around.

Stopped by for a pint after walking around Haarlem. Guinness was poured properly, nice and creamy. Staff didn't hover, just left me alone which I appreciate. It's right in the centre so easy to find. Prices are typical for the area, nothing crazy. Fine if you just want a quiet drink without the tourist fuss.

Came here on a busy evening and still got really friendly service. Harm especially made sure we were good, even threw in some free fries while we waited. Didn’t expect that. Food was solid, nothing crazy, but the staff made it feel easy. Wouldn’t mind going back if I’m in the area again.

We booked the private dining room for a special evening, and honestly, the comfort level was the highlight for me. The chairs were really comfortable, and the service felt warm without being pushy. We could just relax and take our time. The food was good too, though nothing wildly surprising. Just a very easy, pleasant night out.

Been coming here for a while now. The courtyard terrace is still my favorite spot, even when it gets a bit busy. Food's been consistent every time, which is honestly why I keep going back. Tried a few things off the menu, all solid. Staff knows what they're doing. Not the easiest place to find, but that's part of the charm I guess.

I went to celebrate my anniversary with my husband! Great experience, the food was delicious and the service amazing! The only negative point is that the restaurant is small and the table and seats are very close together, but nothing that really take away from the experience.

Solid pad thai and green curry in Haarlem for around €30-35. Portions were proper and the flavors had real depth. Staff kept things moving fast. Nice find.

The chocolate lava cake with ice cream was the highlight. Warm center, cold scoop on top, solid combo. Rest of the food was fine, just not as spicy as I'd like.

Sat at the bar, watched the chefs work. Oysters with ponzu cucumber were a nice twist. Wine list solid, though sparkling options thin.

The hot chocolate here is the real deal. You pick your chocolate on a stick and it melts into the steamed milk yourself. I liked that you can choose how strong you want it. My only tiny gripe is the cup is a bit small for the price, but the quality makes up for it. Definitely a solid stop if you're into chocolate.

The soups and wraps here are actually pretty tasty, and their coffee surprised me. Outdoor seating's lovely when the weather's nice. Good spot to grab a bite with friends. ☀️

Came here with a couple of friends last week and honestly the cocktails were the highlight. Strong but not harsh, and the plating on the food looked almost too pretty to eat. It’s a bit pricey, but for a night out in Haarlem it felt worth it. Place was buzzing though, so not the best if you want a quiet chat. Would go back for drinks again. 🍸

Fabulous. Dishes are works of art. Homely and cozy atmosphere. There are few such restaurants left in Europe. Hurry up to visit.

The karaage was pretty good—crispy and juicy. Ramen had decent flavor, though the broth wasn't as hot as I'd like. Gyoza were a bit of a letdown, honestly. Staff were friendly enough, and the place has a relaxed, casual feel. Fine for a quick meal if you're in the area.

All was good, the food the service. The decorations and location is good. The sandwich of tuna was delicious and the wings. I will recommend it to all

The pistachio ice cream was really creamy and tasty. Portions felt generous for the price. A couple of flavors were sold out, but I left happy.

The church-themed decor really sets it apart. Meat was cooked properly, dessert rounded it off nicely. Bill felt fair for what you get.

Cozy little place tucked away from the crowds. Wine list was solid and the menu had some interesting picks. You can tell they actually care about what they're doing.

Great beer list and that terrace right on Botermarkt is hard to beat. Gets super busy once the sun hits though, so better come early for a spot. 🍻

The truffle pizza (Della Lana Tartufo) was really good. Rich taste, not too heavy. Service was fine, friendly enough. Place was busy for a Tuesday but we got seated quick. Had better in the area but this one does the job. Maybe slightly pricey for what it is, but I'd come back if I'm craving that pizza again.

The service and food is good. Very friendly staff, the prices are good. there was a special day menu 3 courses with ossobuco lamb as main course. Very soft meat and the sauce and spaghetti were excellent. Homemade Tiramisu as dessert was lovely.

The beer selection was solid and the mushroom soup really hit the spot. Cool setting inside the old church, though it did get pretty busy. Service was a bit slow but nothing terrible.
