Came here on a busy evening and still got really friendly service. Harm especially made sure we were good, even threw in some free fries while we waited. Didn’t expect that. Food was solid, nothing crazy, but the staff made it feel easy. Wouldn’t mind going back if I’m in the area again.

We booked the private dining room for a special evening, and honestly, the comfort level was the highlight for me. The chairs were really comfortable, and the service felt warm without being pushy. We could just relax and take our time. The food was good too, though nothing wildly surprising. Just a very easy, pleasant night out.

Been coming here for a while now. The courtyard terrace is still my favorite spot, even when it gets a bit busy. Food's been consistent every time, which is honestly why I keep going back. Tried a few things off the menu, all solid. Staff knows what they're doing. Not the easiest place to find, but that's part of the charm I guess.

I went to celebrate my anniversary with my husband! Great experience, the food was delicious and the service amazing! The only negative point is that the restaurant is small and the table and seats are very close together, but nothing that really take away from the experience.

Solid pad thai and green curry in Haarlem for around €30-35. Portions were proper and the flavors had real depth. Staff kept things moving fast. Nice find.

The chocolate lava cake with ice cream was the highlight. Warm center, cold scoop on top, solid combo. Rest of the food was fine, just not as spicy as I'd like.

Sat at the bar, watched the chefs work. Oysters with ponzu cucumber were a nice twist. Wine list solid, though sparkling options thin.

The soups and wraps here are actually pretty tasty, and their coffee surprised me. Outdoor seating's lovely when the weather's nice. Good spot to grab a bite with friends. ☀️

Came here with a couple of friends last week and honestly the cocktails were the highlight. Strong but not harsh, and the plating on the food looked almost too pretty to eat. It’s a bit pricey, but for a night out in Haarlem it felt worth it. Place was buzzing though, so not the best if you want a quiet chat. Would go back for drinks again. 🍸

Fabulous. Dishes are works of art. Homely and cozy atmosphere. There are few such restaurants left in Europe. Hurry up to visit.

The karaage was pretty good—crispy and juicy. Ramen had decent flavor, though the broth wasn't as hot as I'd like. Gyoza were a bit of a letdown, honestly. Staff were friendly enough, and the place has a relaxed, casual feel. Fine for a quick meal if you're in the area.

All was good, the food the service. The decorations and location is good. The sandwich of tuna was delicious and the wings. I will recommend it to all

The pistachio ice cream was really creamy and tasty. Portions felt generous for the price. A couple of flavors were sold out, but I left happy.

The church-themed decor really sets it apart. Meat was cooked properly, dessert rounded it off nicely. Bill felt fair for what you get.

Cozy little place tucked away from the crowds. Wine list was solid and the menu had some interesting picks. You can tell they actually care about what they're doing.

The truffle pizza (Della Lana Tartufo) was really good. Rich taste, not too heavy. Service was fine, friendly enough. Place was busy for a Tuesday but we got seated quick. Had better in the area but this one does the job. Maybe slightly pricey for what it is, but I'd come back if I'm craving that pizza again.

The service and food is good. Very friendly staff, the prices are good. there was a special day menu 3 courses with ossobuco lamb as main course. Very soft meat and the sauce and spaghetti were excellent. Homemade Tiramisu as dessert was lovely.

The beer selection was solid and the mushroom soup really hit the spot. Cool setting inside the old church, though it did get pretty busy. Service was a bit slow but nothing terrible.

Fantastic food and atmosphere, Rocky was an excellent host and gave us a lot of advice on what to order to match our tastes

We sat outside on the terrace, which was lovely. I had the spring chicken—cooked really well, juicy. The oysters tasted fresh, no complaints there. Got a bit loud inside later, but that’s fine for a bistro vibe. Nice spot in Haarlem if you’re into simple, honest food.

Great atmosphere and really good quality food. Three of us visited on a Saturday evening, we all ordered different dishes for the main course (halibut, haddock, chicken and each of us were really impressed by everything we ate. Service was efficient, friendly and helpful. I’d definitely recommend a visit.

Souvlaki platter was solid, red stew surprised me too. Place feels properly family-run, not touristy. Bit pricey for what you get though, but you can tell they care about the food. I'd come back if I'm craving Greek in Haarlem.

very good food, nice poeple, great place. it was our first time at the restaurant but we definately come for more vfvffvdffhdvdfhvfdjgdfjvhgdvfh

Great atmosphere and the food was amazingly presented . The quality was good but it took a while before we were served - in fact it took an hour before the first food arrived. Staff were friendly and polite and the experience was good value for money

Nice spot right on the Gedempte Oude Gracht. Grabbed a quick lunch there, sandwich was solid and came out fast. Nothing fancy but does the job.

Resto Indo RasaPaarlaarsteeg 72011 TA HaarlemSunday, March 26, 2023This Indonesian restaurant is truly a hidden gem that offers a wonderful dining experience. From the moment you step inside, you'll be greeted with warm and friendly service from the husband and wife team that opened this restaurant a year ago. Both are fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and was fun to recall some of my language skills left over from living in Indonesia 60 plus years ago!But the real star of the show is the food. Resto Indo Rasa offers a wide variety of Indonesian dishes that are bursting with flavor and spice. Whether you're a fan of spicy food or prefer milder options, there's something for everyone on the menu. The Soto Ayam is a flavorful and comforting chicken soup that is perfect for any day of the week. Made with tender chicken, rice noodles, and a rich broth made with turmeric and lemongrass, this dish is a true comfort food. It's the perfect combination of savory and spicy, with a slight hint of sweetness that makes it irresistible. But if you're in the mood for something more indulgent, you must try the Rendang, a dish that originates in Sumatra and is often on a list of the world's 10 best meals. This dish is cooked for an impressive 3 days, allowing the meat to become incredibly tender and infused with rich, complex flavors. . The slow-cooked beef is simmered in a blend of spices and coconut milk, creating a thick, hearty sauce that is the perfect accompaniment to steamed rice. Typically, Rendang recipes call for 1 pound of spices for each pound of beef! The Rendang is truly a work of culinary art and a must-try for anyone visiting Resto Indo Rasa. The intense flavors and melt-in-your-mouth texture are truly unforgettable. The Sate Ayam (chicken satay) is also a must-try, as the juicy and tender meat is perfectly complemented by the sweet and savory peanut sauce. And you can get an authentic Bintang beer to accompany your meal!
